Chapter 12

Kalin P.O.V

It's been 3 months since Marissa has been in a coma and things have been very stressful for all us . Which include ( marissa mom, sister , best friends , Myles , and me ). I never leave her side even if my stomach is growling for food .

"Kalin I think it's sweet that you here and all but you should go home and take a shower and eat " kalins mom say patting my shoulder

I shook my head "Im sorry mrs.wilson but I promised Marissa when she wakes up I'll be here " I said looking straight at Marissa who looks peaceful sleeping .

"I'm pretty sure if my daughter was awake she would give you a speech about how come you haven't ate or slept " she says chuckling

"Okay I'll go , but please call me as soon as she wakes up " I said with a small smile

"I will son now go home your friend is worried about you " she said taking a sit next to her daughter and holding her hand .

I exit the room and walk out the hospital and I'm hit with a cold rush of wind that feels really good . I smile and pull out my phone to call Myles to pick me up .

*ring ring *

"Hello " a grouchy voice says

"Myles " I say

"Kalin what's up bro ?" He says

"Can you please pick me up I need food and a shower " I say smelling my stinking clothes and hearing my stomach growl again .

"If I pick you up can we go to in& out ?" he says and I'm pretty sure he is smiling right now .

"Bro of course I need a burger " I say laughing at his response

"Alright I'm coming bro " he says hanging up

I lean on the wall waiting for Myles to come so I go on Instagram and check my news feed . I look at my profile and see a pic of marissa on my wall . I smile at the thought of seeing her smile .

I see Myles pulling up to the hospital and I run to the car and get inside and buckle up .

"You ready to get some in&out? " Myles said too much excited

"What's got you in a good mood?" I say giving him the eye

"Can't I just be happy and spend quality time with my best frand " he says cheesing

"Who's the girl Myles ? " I say smiling

"W-what girl "he says stuttering and we make the turn to in&out .

"Myles" I say warning him

"Ok ok it's arianna, we're dating now " he says with a cheesy grin

"Aww snap Myles got a girlfriend " I sang

"Yeah yeah shut up I want food" he says parking the car and turning the engine off

I nod and we pause to taken a selfie by our favorite food place .besides the others .

We walk in and I smell the goodness of burgers and French fries. I think I'm in love I say to myself .

"Hey welcome to in&out what can I get you guys " the employee says looking at us

"Umm can we get 2 double cheeseburgers and 2 fries and 1 chocolate shake and 1 coke " Myles says

"Alright that will be $10 " he says putting in our order

I hand him the ten and he tells us it's going to be a minute so we pick a empty table and sit .

"Sooo how's marissa doing?" Myles says looking around
