IN THE LANDS OF ALWAYS WINTER, they were lost. In the domain of the wildlings as they call them and the White Walkers that dwell in the far north, they were stranded. The latter a myth for most.Blue eyes. They would've sworn they have seen blue glowing eyes as they watched the finest fighters get ripped apart.
"Jasmine!" Isabelle's voice echoed, watching her sister draw her bow against those enigmatic entities. She urgently tugged on her twin's arm, pulling her away, and the two of them dashed through the dense snow, racing towards the shelter of the forest's edge, seeking refuge under the fading twilight.
Their hearts pounded frantically, as if it was now or never. If their legs faltered, dire consequences would follow. Comply, and the damage would be confined mainly to their shins and knees.
Within the shadow cast by clouds seemingly pursuing the sisters and the creatures with those haunting blue eyes, every rustle of a leaf seized their attention. It sparked their minds to spin faster, causing their fragile grasp on reality to waver. Until they laid eyes on it-the colossal ice wall. Yet, Jasmine and Isabelle's minds were too wary to fully react to the sight they had dreamed of for so long. They continued to run, their proximity to the wall growing with each stride.
A mammoth gate within the wall itself began to ascend just as the two girls hurtled forward, soon finding themselves confronted by men clad in black. Swords and bows were raised, pointed towards them, until the faces of the girls became discernible, causing the armed men to lower their weapons. Gasping for breath, the sisters sank onto the snow-covered ground.
What harm could two young girls be to the men of the Night's Watch?
