Chapter Fourteen

Jimin saw it, with his own eyes, he saw it. It was Chaeyoung and Yoongi, they choose this spot as if nobody could see them here. But what a pity, the person who didn't want to hear it nor see it, saw it before anybody else did. Tears streamed down Jimin's cheeks, and he turned away, it hurt, it hurt to know that she was in someone's embrace who isn't him.

He was heartbroken, the sight of them was too painful to his heart, he felt like a coward, a loser, his hopes were crashed, everything felt dull and gloomy, and this was because of the lovely couple. It was over, in his words, his chance was gone now, he was pulled into a hug, he knew it was Hoseok. Hoseok said nothing, he knew about him and Chaeyoung, because in order to keep up with each other, they shared all their secrets, and Jimin's book of life was one of them.

"I can't believe this" Jimin's voice came out as a whisper, he rubbed his back, Hoseok surely knew how to comfort people, it had been his thing since a long time. But deep down inside, Jimin knew, he knew he saw it coming since the day Yoongi stepped in the university! Add the fact that he danced to feel free, free from the fear of losing Chaeyoung.

But now, it was over, he thought that there might be something in her heart for him...or somewhere in her life when she might've felt a connection with him, but no, it was a big no on his face. Hoseok gazed at the couple from afar, they looked so...lovely, in Hoseok's opinion. The way Yoongi looked at her, it was crystal clear that the two were dating and loved each other.

"I'm curious on where Jimin disappears everyday" Lisa said as she and Jungkook were walking in the hallway along with Jennie and Taehyung. "Maybe he's dating someone, love demands time from the lover" Jungkook joked with a chuckle, Lisa giggled lightly. "Do you guys really think he has a girlfriend?" Taehyung asked them. "I think he has a boyfriend" Jennie said lazily, Lisa and Jungkook burst into laughter but Taehyung just kept a straight face. 

"Not funny, Jen" Taehyung said. "Why? Have you never heard his voice? He sounds like a girl sometimes" Jennie was just joking around. "Just because he sounds a bit feminine doesn't mean you can go around and make fun of him like that" Taehyung said, clearly trying to show that this wasn't a moment to joke around, Taehyung was worried of what Jimin was hiding from them, or why he wasn't telling them.

"Chill out dude, we were just kidding" Jennie said as she lightly bumped her shoulder in his, he sighed. "Sorry guys, I was just worried, Jimin never hides things from us that's why" Taehyung said, Jennie laughed sarcastically. "Oh yeah? Jimin never hides things from us? Before Jin, none of you knew that him and Chaeyoung were childhood best friends" Jennie snapped, sarcasm laced on every word. 

Taehyung's lips formed a thin line, she hit him right at the spot. "Don't fight guys, it won't end up good-" Jungkook was cut off when the bell rang, the students around them groaned at how they hated the annoying sound. "See! The bell rang! Let's go to our classes! YAY!" Lisa said as she started dragging Jennie with her, earning a small glare from Jungkook on how stupid her choice of words was right now.

"Yeah hyung let's go to our class before that wicked teacher punishes us again" Jungkook made up an excuse pulled Taehyung with him. Taehyung was fed up with Jennie's behaviour, the girl was never serious, she was nothing like Lisa. At times, Taehyung would think that only if he had told Lisa that he had a crush on her, then he wouldn't be dealing with Jennie right now.

Sure, he loved her, but she was acting as if she doesn't even want him in her life anymore, as if she's done with him. Taehyung remembered when people used to call Jennie a 'girlfriend material', but little did they know, Jennie was nothing like that. No late-night calls, no sweet greetings, no first moves, no 'I love you', no pet names, no stay overs no nothing, Jennie was just under the label that she was his girlfriend, but she wasn't even acting like one!

Taehyung tried, he tried to make her jealous, but the girl was far from it. He hung around the girls without her, but she didn't mind, she really said it's okay! If Lisa wasn't taken right now, then Jennie would've been single instead. He tried to love her, to let her trust that he won't leave her, to let her believe that he really loved her, but no, the girl wasn't even returning the feelings, the actions, everything, it was just him and him doing everything for her! And what did she do to him in return?

She always hit him with her savageness, she reminded him of Yoongi, but at least Yoongi showed his love for his 'secret' girlfriend. Taehyung sighed, he needed to see what she was upto, did she even love him anymore? or did she love someone else?

Maybe even worse, was she double dating?
