The hand around his throat was tight. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't think. Colours were bursting in his vision. Keith's cries were muffled. Lions were falling. His first home was crumbling. The ancient sword in his hand was dulled and chipped, and his bayard was destroyed by Kuron. All hope is seemingly lost. But, Lance could feel a twinge of electricity in his veins, and Blue growled in his consciousness. He let out a smirk in his half consciousness daze. Shit was about to go down.

Okay, so yall better be prepared for an angst land, 'cause that's what you're gonna get. Keith has been trapped in a cannibalistic facility for as long as he could remember. It was a bleak place that ran strictly on the 'kill or be killed' rule. He was certain that he would be there until his unavoidable death at some point in the near future. That was until a daring, quirky, and optimistic man walked right into his life and set him free. The new companions travel through the woods and do their best to survive while Lance slowly but surely tries to coax Keith into revealing more about his life. They, of course, come across trouble from time to time and meet lots of new people. There are lots of Bonding Moments™ with lots of cradling. Warning: There will be graphic descriptions of gore, violence, depression, suicidal thoughts, and other sensitive topics. If you will be bothered by any of this, read with caution.

Watching Lance's murderous face as he watched their captor didn't sit well with them. They didn't know how far Lance would go to defend them.

She was Karak'nirir, a goddess that had been worshipped by the Ilaniens for centuries. Her presence was known to the universe, and feared by all. She was powerful. Powerful enough to control the oceans on all the planets. She was considered the bearer of life itself, since no life could exist without water to nurture it. And she was tired of her powers. Many were wanting but there was only one she thought worthy. Who could be more worthy than the Blue Paladin? Aka: Lance McClain.

He nearly cried out at the impact. The Black Paladin dug his hands into the fabric of his shirt, pushing him harshly against the wall, "Where is Lance?!" Keith snarled. It really was remarkable how his eyes changed to resemble those of pure Galra. It would have scared him if his introduction to the guy hadn't been a gushing retelling of a 'bonding moment' between him and his brother. Alec merely rolled his eyes. "Haven't you been listening. I. Don't. Know. And to think Lance said you were smart." Keith was pratically growling as he pulled his arms off of his shirt. "I'll say this once. You will either help me find my brother and fix the mess you made or you will let me leave with that ship and stay the fuck away from him." In which Lance goes off on a solo mission without the others knowing only to be left behind when the team disappears and having to deal with the aftermath. (They do get reunited. In fact most of the time lance spends a part from them in shown in Lance's flashbacks leading up to their reuinion.)
