Hana knew that any sensible woman wouldn't love the things she loved, the people she loved. They wouldn't do the things that she did for the things and the people that she loved. Countless times, she had lied, cheated and stolen just to be able to feel the perfect arms around her, the perfect voice in her ears as it told her she had done perfectly. Sighing, she tossed the bloody kunai in her hand down on the ground as she entered the Akatsuki's base. She couldn't say that she really enjoyed the killing, but she enjoyed what it brought her: peace of mind in knowing that it made others happy, which in turn made her happy. But did that even make any sense? Did killing really make anybody happy or did they just leave it at that so all of their problems could be easily solved? The base was quiet and cold as she entered; it seemed as if everyone else was out doing the same deeds that she had completed not long ago. Stealing, lying and killing. Did an S-ranked criminals life really come down to all this? Just this? Couldn't there be something more, something that Hana and the others had yet to find, that could add more perspective to their existence? As she walked down the long hallways, the only sound that greeted her was the sound of her feet hitting the stone floor. It felt lonesome, not hearing the sound of yelling or the sound of fighting echoing throughout these hallways caused drifting thoughts to appear, taking her mind to dark and far off places. Frowning, she shoved her door open before going to collapse on her bed, her face pressing into the pillow. Her body felt robbed of oxygen, but she was going to stay this way for just a bit longer. Why shouldn't she? Shouldn't her lungs be just as lonely as her ears were?
