Book Two of The 9th Arm continues a genre-bending narrative that moves across Earth, Nyxoria, and the medieval world of Sunsire, following Stoker as each realm reveals a different truth about his nature. In Nyxoria, a world untouched by human conflict, he is confronted not with war, but with order. Not with scarcity, but with abundance. Just some short stories from a prompt book I got to get the cogs in my brain to start working. They will most likely cover a few different genres and, to be honest, won't be very good. I appreciate any tips, feedback, and constructive criticism from any seasoned writers! Please enjoy my interpretations of these prompts :)

Work in progress the following collection of short stories is one that i've written and created myself, this is my first attempt at a short story collection so I hope it turned out ok! The Genre of said stories may vary but i put just as much effort into each one, hope you like it.

[#10 IN REALISTIC - 10/07/2019] [COMPLETED] The year was 2118. All seemed normal; normal, until you saw the dust kiss the sky; a mix of brown and white against an infinite blue. Our planet had changed quite a bit in the past 50-60 years. Most financially extractable petroleum had been drained clean by 2048, and like insects to the light, coal soon followed. I mean, it was never meant to be a problem; most estimates said we'd find viable alternatives by then. But we were so preoccupied with getting the last barrel of oil out, we never stopped to ask what we'd do after it was out. And now, we had to look up and wonder if our place was among the stars, or on the burning dust. --- Sci-Fi Adventure inspired heavily by Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. What happens when you know the one you are going to burn? Do you follow along with the demands of the people and turn the witch over to the mob? Or does friendship rule over all of that? What does one do when the will of the people is that the witch will burn?
