Amanda Claire is new in her cousins high school. With her bubbly personality, she's easily drawn to Oliver Martins after bumping into him on her first day of attending Haumort high school. Martins the guy with dreadlocks. Silent, minding his business. Everyone says he is bad news. But is he really? Or is the world's judgement too harsh on him for a past he had no control over? When Claire finds out that Oliver, is her best friend that left her years ago, is she going to forgive him? Or will she make him pay for causing her heartbreak? Will they let the past slide and reconcile or are they going to dwell on it, let unforgiveness prevail and stay away from each other? Even after developing a new friendship and forming a bond that is so pure and strong?

Fabian Adefemi Afolami suffers from depression, anxiety and a series of addictions. He struggles to come to terms with his father's terminal illness and the contingency that he could very well be his only living successor. It's too much burden for him. He has to once again discard his aspirations to prove his love to his father. With these responsibilities on his shoulders, he strives to find the balance. But his world comes to a standstill when his past comes back to goad him again. After the passing of her mother, Zemira realises she now has the sole accountability of catering to her brother's need. But a secondary school certificate, dreadlocks, piercings and conspicuous ink isn't much qualification. She discards her musical aspirations and takes to the streets for the hustle and bustle even if it means she has to do it like the men. She tries to remain true to herself while weathering the storm but her razor sharp tongue is what will plunge her into trouble with a very dangerous man. This is Fabian's story; a spinoff from Rugged To The Core. You do not have read Rugged To The Core to understand this.

This book goes over many cultural backgrounds of group's with Dreadlocs Such as South Asia , Africa , Egypt The America's amongst Native Tribes as well as Iron age literature & Archeological journals and images from The Iron Age Celts and the possibility of Indo Ayran group's from Iran and India expanding into Europe giving locs to Celts as a possibility and there migration into africa & or from Hunter gathers. also debunks misconceptions of which Europeans are documented on having locs.

This is one of the stories that I wrote for my Creative Writing class, my senior year of high school. I wrote a series of 5 stories all telling warped versions if some of the famous classics such as Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Rumpelstiltskin and Pinocchio.
