Main pairing: Thanet (Pond) x Niran (Phuwin) Supporting Pairings: Khao (Gemini) x Fai (Fourth) Arthit (Joong) x Rain (Dunk) A quiet Fine Arts student with a deep fear of darkness is forced to work with a blunt, emotionally distant Engineering student on a major university project themed around "light and shadow." They were never supposed to fit together... the quiet art student who fears the night, and the engineering student who trusts only what can be designed. But when a university project forces them to create something that blurs the line between light and shadow, they start building more than an installation. They start building trust. Safety. Something neither of them can name yet. Because some people don't heal in silence. They heal in the presence of someone who refuses to leave.

I turned on the tv for something to watch when the news popped on."The world has been taken over by us humans fears. You will get paired into groups of two.Everyone today will have a scanner above there head that only they may see. Once you find your person the fears will begin. If you fail to find your person in the next 24hours you will automatically be killed." I turned off the tv fast. "No,this isn't real. It's all just a joke." I said nervously my breath shaking. Then I heard my phone ding.

While wandering through the woods, you dismiss the rustling behind you as nothing more than the wind until you turn around and realize it isn't the wind at all.

This story is my own fantastical interpretation of the field of mental health. My career has been solely based on helping children overcome a world of darkness and fear, as well as strive towards a more fulfilling life. I was given the opportunity to write a short story to present to an Art Gala, which was a fundraiser for the employment for which I work, but this piece never made it. I hope you enjoy.

"Whispers in the Dark" is a collection of standalone horror stories where reality twists, and nothing is as safe as it seems. These are the moments you never speak of - The figure watching from the window when you think you're alone. The dream you both share but never remember the same way. The smile from across the street that's meant only for you. Each story peels back the thin layer between normal life and the unspeakable things hiding underneath - the ones waiting for night to fall, for everyone else to stop looking. Because sometimes, what you think is just in your head... is already inside your house. Read at night. If you dare. But don't look too long at the shadows. They might be looking back.

They're really a secret society, with strange rules and frightening initiation rites. At their first meeting, the most popular member forces the girls to sign an oath, promising never to speak of what happens each time they get together. If you break this promise you're doomed. Because once you've joined, you can't get out...alive.

Nyctophobia is a phobia characterized by a severe fear of the dark. It is triggered by the brain’s disfigured perception of what would, or could, happen when in a dark environment. It can also be temporarily triggered if the mind is unsteady or scared about recent events or ideas, or a partaking in content the brain considers a threat. [Examples could include indulging in horror content, witnessing vulgar actions, or having linked dark environments to prior events or ideas that disturb the mind.] . . . . *This story is NOT about the phobia, just a girl who is suffering from it. And a journey to escape it*

Marcus never believed in ghosts, monsters, or anything supernatural. Then every night at exactly 2:15 a.m., something starts knocking on his bedroom door. At first, he convinces himself it's his imagination. Lack of sleep. An old house making strange noises. But when a dark figure begins appearing at the end of his hallway-and a terrifying message appears scratched into his bedroom door-Marcus realizes something impossible has found him. And whatever it is... seems to know him.

*I do not own the cover art!* Hey guys. I know it's taken me a long time to get this done but I just couldn't figure out how to word this. Horror is my thing so this is a mix of romance and horror. I hope it isn't too bad Anyway! If there's anyone who thinks there's something I could improve the story on, don't be afraid to voice your opinion! I'm open to improvement.

Born from our childhood fears of the dark

At some point in our lives we have all experienced that childish fear of the dark. Afraid a monster will creep out from our bed and drag us down. The shadows slowly shifting in their nightmarish dance, but then the sun rises again and all is right. What if the sun didn't rise to chase away the demons of darkness? It has been nearly a millennium since the human race has seen the sun, and the world has been overrun by the embodiment of human fear.
