Just a poem that I wrote one day to vent after having a really bad nightmare.

You'll be the lamb and I'll be the monster. Don't let me catch you.

I wrote this one shot for an online seminar for creative writing. We were told that we were invited to a fictional skating party and that we should each write about our arrival to the party. We were to include our guest, the clothing we were wearing and the meal we had brought to the pot luck. I had to "bring" one of my favorite fictional characters. The other characters in the story are my classmates and the guests they brought with them. If you'd like you can always "join" the party by writing a short one shot and posting it to the comments.
