What if there was a computer virus that took over the technology and mutated it to the point where it grows a mind of its own? Grew a mind of its own, and then decided that it was better than the human race, it was superior, and started committing countless acts of murder? What would happen to a world already ruled by technology, after its technology turns on them? Would anyone be ready for the oncoming disaster? A better question would be not if they would be ready, but if they would survive at all. After the apocalypse has started, Aeryn Pine, who was herself a technology user, seemed to be the only person she knew that realized what seemed to happening on a global scale and stopped using her devices. She tried to get her friends and family to listen to her, but they were too attached to their devices, and they didn't stand a chance. But neither did the world, at least it wouldn't if the virus made it to the missiles, the missiles that were currently under 24/7 surveillance and protection by technology, Aeryn has to make it across the globe to stop the computer virus that she believes she has a way to stop. Along her way to stop the spread, she meets a few nuts, wackjobs and friends but also makes a few enemies. Will Aeryn make it in the time she has predicted there is until the virus reaches the devastating weapons? Or will she die, and the rest of the world with her, at the hands of man's new best friend, the murderer that no one expected to emerge? I guess that only time will tell. "No! BACKGROUND INFORMATION: It's the 2378 and scientists have discovered another moon orbiting the Earth 80 years earlier. They have named this moon Beta Axel. This moon does not appear to rotate and is 1.7 times bigger than Earths first discovered moon. Beta Axel has for the most part beautiful landscapes. There are giant purple mountains and the turquoise lakes and oceans are breathtaking. It has forests with towering trees , the bark the color of fluffy cotton candy, the leaves the color of sunsets. The sky of the moon is colored light blue just like Earth but the clouds are a peachy color. Yes, there is life on Beta Axel. There are mostly plants and some animals but the most intriguing life form on this moon is that there are what seem to be humans on it. Like people on Earth they too have a sophisticated life style although they do not have an industrial way of life. These people are what are called Axellans on Earth. ABOUT STORY: On April 14, 2378 what Astronomers thought were missiles were spotted in the sky. They just missed Earth as they went by but they guess the missiles came from Beta Axel. 10 days later many countries have already declared war on Beta Axel based on these scientists' inferences. Calliope and Clara Kazy are sibling who live on Beta Axel or what some Axellans call Ancient Vyxenna. Clara has a genetic mutation that made her a cyclops. She doesn't have any depth perception because of this and has a hard time walking around since she is always bumping into things. Calliope (Callie for short) and Clara must conquer the pain and loss of war against their home planet, but what will happen when Clara does something extremely risky? Read to find out.

What they don't know is that, in a few moments, everything will be going up in flames, but at least the house has a bomb shelter in the basement, right? But, what they don't know is that the bunker itself can only hold nine, and they know they can't fit all ten of them. That means that one of them has to go out... for the barbecue. Author's Note (AN): this story was written originally as a part of a college project that involved this scenario, and I thought that maybe I should perhaps upload it here so a few more people can read it and perhaps give me some critiques (as always).
