"You text too much!" your dad complains. "You never go outside!" your mother nags. "I'm just a normal teenager!" you retort. But eventually, your parents can't take it anymore. Now fed up with your resilience, they decide to ship you off to a remote place approximately 300 miles south of the Arctic Circle. That's right; you're staying in Nunavut, Canada with none other than Mathieu Williams, your uncle. Your parents claim he met you when you were a baby... maybe once. But you haven't heard anything about him since. That is, other than he's got a crazy temper and he can be super intimidating. Not to mention he is sort of a psychotic tree-hugger! Great, an entire summer in a tree covered ice box with no cell reception, running water, electrical heating, or a town for the next 50 miles. Will you die of lack of civilization before summer's over? Or will Matt somehow manage to break you and reconnect your rebellious spirit to nature and the earth itself? • My information is looked into! Strange happenings are occuring on Ellesmere Island. The United States government sends in the USPA (United States Protection Agency) to study the area, survey, and protect the American scientists that are at the Planetary Exporational Biosphere located near Alert. A place where scientists can study what it's like to live in a nearly Martian environment.

2025 considering rewriting, 10+ yr old story - (Book 1) What happens when a unborn werewolf has vampire venom running through it's veins? A hybrid unlike any other is born. Whisper Woods is a young girl who lost her father before birth and lost her mother at age 8. As shes tossed from state to state, from foster family to foster family, Whisper goes through a lot and blamed for everything gone wrong. But one day when she encounters a strange man, her past revels itself and pieces to her life's puzzle falls into place.

Can you imagine living in the arctic when the nights appear to be endless and the frigid wind blows hard? And then there are the blizzards that can cover a whole village under a thick blanket of snow! Who would want to live there? But when summer comes and the snow disappears and the sun shines all day long, the saxifrage and arctic cotton and many other alpine flowers stick their lovely heads above the frozen tundra, transforming the landscape into a colourful woven carpet with amazing patterns that only nature is capable of.

In 1974, a professor going by the name of "Professor Vern", did the impossible by creating humanoid sprites in the real world. His vision for these sprites was to co-exist in the human world, live a normal life as any human being and making a difference to the world. However, an organization known as the T.O.U (Tamers Of The Unknown), saw a threat in this vision and plotted to arrest Vern and seize his invention. In response, Vern put every young sprites in different homes across Canada and disappeared. 30 years later, Ray Dumont, his adopted sister, Anaïs McNabb and their dog, Rizzie were living a normal life until the T.O.U arrived. With the help of a holographic Professor Vern, Ray, Anaïs, Rizzie, and many others vow to restore rights for sprites and expose the T.O.U 's practices and prove the public wrong.
