"SELCOUTH - strange, unusual, foreign, and so, so... so familiar." In which Dream---exiled and extremely bored---comes across a odd village and an even odder forest. Will there be strange creatures and occurrences? Enemies and friends? ... Maybe. Will Dream make it out alive...? Most likely. But he'll be back. We'll have to wait and see if he makes it out again, no? Either way, he'll never be quite the same.

The most despairing thing is feeling yourself drown while you watch everyone around you breathe. Percy Jackson was condemned by the gods and caught up in a plot that spans millennia. He is confined at a remote location to suffer until he is either released or forgotten. At least, that was the plan until a mysterious stranger appears outside the fallen hero's cell. Working title. This is a story I've been bouncing around in my head for over a year now. We'll see if it's good. It has some familiar elements as other fanfictions but I am proud to say there will be some parts that are 100% original (at least I haven't seen anywhere else use these ideas). *I honestly haven't decided what themes to throw in. I do want to delve into depression, I just haven't decided how deep. Just a forewarning.

Whilst investigating the death of a local Fire sign, a stubborn earth sign called Taurus uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, dagger circulating throughout zolice. As soon as anyone uses the dagger, they have exactly 4 days left to live. The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look holographic. A marked person feels like a strong sorins to touch. Taurus gets hold of the dagger, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into their mind: a crazy zoros balancing on a dead Fire sign, an old newspaper headline about a cold blooded 'accident', a hooded treedie ranting about eyes and a drinking well, located in a desolate place. When Taurus notices their neck has a sorins sign, they realises that the curse of the dagger is true! Pieces examines the dagger and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the crazy zoros balancing on a dead Fire sign particularly chilling. She then joins the queue for a supernatural death. Taurus and Pieces along with their friends, pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded treedies. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?

At first glance, Avalon is a peaceful, tropical paradise with no worries, but things are about to change.

In my realm their are six lands that all use to live in harmony that was until the Kaharas came and with them they brought death and poison as they took a hold of these lands as their single ruler. Under the ruling of the Kaharas the lands fell under their poison and darkness. The gods of this realm saw this and thought they knew they themselves couldn't do much, they build six gates separating the lads stopping the wars for now so they can fin a way to save what they have created. The gods eventually come to an agreement that each god would choose someone from any of the six lands to guide and help so that those creatures may fight the darkness of the Kaharas and save their realm.

Being murdered was never one of the what if's that Cory pondered over because, well, Cory wasn't very thoughtful. She cared about nothing, just like her parents and when she dies...she realises how completely native she was as to think that was how life worked. So she gets a chance. A chance to help others not make the same mistake she once did. This story is not about how Cory dies. It's about how she finally gets to live.

Luke struggles with insomnia of a very interesting variety. Every time he tries to fall asleep, he feels like he is falling and wakes up again. His overly strict parents won't take him to the doctors, believing that god will heal his ailments faster than any medication will, and Luke's best friend Alex is always coming to the rescue, but Alex can't save Luke this time. With no hope of sleep, and no one to help him, Luke finds himself hearing things. Along with smelling things. Was that sea salt he smelt? Why did he hear rushing wind? He never thought the phrase "falling asleep" would be taken literally.

The war between man and monsters has been going on for years, but one girl has a plan to fix everything.
