My second submission for the #PlanetorPlastics contest. This story is told by a marine biologist and her encounters with plastic in the Coral Sea, off the coast of Australia.

What if Lorelai had another child, Rory's twin sister. This is set between the seasons 2-7. I only own Charlie, Amy Sherman-Pallidino owns Gilmore Girls and the other characters.

Legacy - something that is a result of events in the past. We've reached the tipping point where plastic pollution is concerned. If we don't act soon, the legacy we leave behind for our children may not be as rosy as we imagine. My entry for the National Geographic Planet or Plastic competition. My piece is themed on the legacy we leave for our children and children's children because of the durable plastic mess we have created.

Plastic bags are convenient to humans. But to marine animals, they are not convenient at all. Instead, to marine creatures, they're deadly.
