*Cover by the uber-talented Pixie Stormcrow!* (covers.pstormcrow.com) All bad decisions are born out of one key moment. A moment, thoughtless or not, where you choose wrong over right. Evil over good. You roll the dice and brace for the consequences, and that's exactly what Jolie and Carson did the day they met by mistake. One wrong number, one simple conversation over text, and their lives as they knew it were gone. Jolie, a miserable housewife who clings to the bottle just to get by, and Carson, a doctor who's stitched together the perfect facade to hide his failed marriage from his children and colleagues. Loneliness consumes them both, and when they find an unlikely friend at the end of a stranger's phone number, they cling to whatever connection they can get. Neither intended to cross any lines, but then again, good people rarely intend to do bad things. For Jolie and Carson, their key moment was fast and not at all easy. And the consequences might be even worse. ~~~~~~ The Wrong Number short story was one of the winners of the Forbidden Love Contest in 2018, and now an expanded full novel on Radish! If you haven't read the short story and don't want to spoil the novel, skip the first chapter!

Aysel is a Letter, an ancient people with blood teeming with magic just waiting to be released by a blade. But when her elder brother is captured by an unseen foe, only to return weeks later with a mysterious, seemingly-incurable illness, Aysel knows that no amount of spilled blood will be enough to save him. The only chance lies with the monsters that lurk in the shadows of her world, Beasts with violent minds, a taste for flesh, and power enough to rival even a Letter. Her pact with them-- a cure for her brother in return for her service-- will reveal deep-seated hatred in her own heart, souls twisted by greed and fear, and love where she thought nothing but evil could grow. Driving the Bus is a collection of short non-fiction writings. The only links between one writing and the next are that of the author and the non-fiction format. These writings are biographical and auto-biographical, and cover a wide variety of topics. If you prefer being selective to diving in then I recommend reading the Table of Contents for a brief synopsis of each offering. I will be publishing serially, adding a new piece each Sunday. #ProjectReadersReact

#1 in humor! (8/28/17) #1 in crappypasta! (8/7/18) Wow I'm just on a roll with these books. Welp, might as well get this description over with... Hello everyone! My name is horror-queen and this is Crappypasta. These range anywhere from Sp00py spin-offs to people who literally didn't try at all. Only the worst of the worst go into this book and though these stories can't send chills down you your spine, they're scary bad. Now keep in mind that these stories aren't MEANT to be bad. And if you should find that you wrote one of these, and you want it removed, kindly ask me. Because if you're mean, I'll probably keep it up. Anywho, grab some coffee, bundle up, and enjoy these Crappypastas. (By the way, this book contains A LOT of poor grammar and spelling. It will kill your brain cells as you read. So if you die, I'll host your funeral.)

On reading Collin's Hunger Games trilogy I was so moved I didn't want it to end. I wrote this after the release of the Hunger Games movie, but before the last three films. This rambling is based on the books, not the movies. I wrote it as way to keep the legend going. I would love to see Ms. Collins continue a truly moving tribute to people. This is complete and I will not add to this story.

Like every sunset sets different Every friendship ends differently too Based on real experiences As every day ends Every thought finds a place at the end Be it an argument Change of hearts A song or words remembered before bed Here would be my thoughts They could be called sunsets or Sunrise But they are all different in their own ways Ones that bring darkness to my mind And ones that brighten my day But more than all there are ones that have a change not even the receiver can point out Jan. 4th-July 28th of 2018

It happened in August. One morning she was here, laughing and singing by his side, and the next morning, she was gone. It took a single day for her to disappear, for her to leave an empty space in their apartment and in his heart. Her smell still lingered over the towels of the bathroom, the covers of their bed she had neatly folded, that last morning, still laid untouched on her side, and the flowers she had put in a vase on the dining table were slowly withering away. He had never seen it coming, that she would be gone so fast. He never expected that she could vanish from his life the way she had appeared, so suddenly and unexpectedly. He had never expected it, that he could be left all alone after knowing what it was like to be with her. It happened in August, but the clouds would linger over him for a long time. Min Yoongi AU. The search for the Keepers of Truth and Might have set into motion events that herald the return of Hemran'na. His harbinger, The Unspoken One, has awoken and shown himself to the Faithful of Cherisium. Elsewhere, secret societies band together and powerful wielders of necromancy conspire, all while ancient texts detailing the whereabouts of the Crimson Eye resurface. Haunted by the written words of Dusel Nadim, Cornar Dol'shir leads the survivors of his adventuring band from Dalgilur. What he thought was a final venture now seems a greater quest that could decide the fate of Kalda. After fleeing Mindolarn, Iltar the Son of Adrin laments the tragedy which befell him and his acolytes at the empire's palace. Marked for death by the Mindolarnians, Iltar must find a way to keep himself and his pupils safe. But no place, not his homeland nor an island long forgotten, is beyond the empire's reach-not even the Translucent Fields of Vabenack. Meanwhile, a sinister plot brews within the Principality of Sororth; aristocrats have been assassinated or abducted. Many blame the Baron of Sereth, whose ambition knows no bounds. Among those who have vanished is the husband of Countess Elsia Scurn. Determined to discover the truth, she will not rest until the count is found and civil unrest is abated. Tales of the Amulet: Several millennia ago, a war raged between the factions of dragonkind. With their world ravaged, the Kaldean Alliance forged the Amulet of Draconic Control and the Tethering Stone, and banished their foes to other realms, saving Kalda from utter destruction. Fearing the power of the Amulet, the survivors secreted it away. But now knowledge of the Amulet has resurfaced - and in the wrong hands, war could erupt anew.

I can't get the image of a beaten Tetsuya out of my mind. Could he be bullied? No it can't be, he's practically invisible... But there is no other explaination to this, Tetsuya has been acting strange lately as well. There was something off with him. If the way he moved didn't give the hint, then the wincing and slow reactions every now and then would. "Is there something wrong?" I ask following him, seeing his eyes widden for a moment then go back to the normal blank again in the next, as if it never happened. "It's not your problem anyway..." I was enraged, but Tetsuya left, not giving me a chance to threaten him or to pursue him further into telling me. Damn it Tetsuya! I will find out what's going on. ~ How? How did he find out? Why did he even notice? ... why would he even care?... "Everyone split in two teams. We're having a match." The coach yelled and blew his whistle. Everyone did as they were told and soon I found myself facing Haizaki's goons, their smiles sending shivers down my spine. Well, I'm screwed either way.

I've heard voices for as long as I can remember. They urge me to do things - dark, horrible, twisted things. It isn't until my eighteenth birthday that I learn something that both explains this phenomenon, and adds more question. The bodiless personalities are either angels, or demons. This epiphany doesn't worry me; what really frightens me is that the demons are stronger. © L. D. Nash

Urban Fantasy - Romance - Immortals - Tournaments. Hidden throughout our modern world is an ancient, mythical community. Beneath their human masks lay a plethora of creatures both terrifying and captivating. Though united in their shared secrecy from humans, deep rifts exist between regions and races. The powerful Immortals that have held them together for centuries now struggle to retain control. At nineteen, Justice Edwards has done well to avoid her place in that world. Distracting herself with High School, and a string of no-string boyfriends she projects a confident but ditsy facade that has served her well. Until now. Summoned along with seventy-two other immortal children she will assume supernatural abilities and be expected to submit her life to the service of this community for the next eighty years. And, unless her team can best their peers in a competitive round of tournaments, she will also have to submit her heart in an intimate, empathic bond to a man with whom she has no say in choosing. As daughter to one of the oldest people to have ever lived, Justice's powers are expected to be legendary, but that means nothing if her team first implodes in a mire of jealousy, betrayal and forbidden love.
