Depression. It affects 6.9% of all the adults in the U.S.A, and is a major problem, continuing to grow. Some of us have never thought about having depression. Some of us have stomped on people suffering from this, laughing, only increasing their sadness even more. This is a short story dealing with this topic. This is a short story describing depression from a new point of view. This is a short story where you're constantly falling into quicksand, never climbing out. This is a short story where you achieve the impossible. This is a short story where you prove that depression isn't the only thing that defines you. You are.

Does quicksand exist? Edd and Eddy play around in a bog. The bog however gets thicker the deeper they go.

To give you a background, I originally wrote this piece back in summer for the campus publication that I used to worked at --- well yeah before I got terminated. I don't know if this piece will ever make the final cut because I didn't get the chance to revise and rewrite some parts (You know the editing-copyreading-process thing! Haha). So now I decided to put it on Wattpad so I can still share it with you guys! Hope y'all like it.
