This is about Robin and Maria's growing friendship and them trying to cure a curse. But first they need to know how. Plus romance for all you shipping them. This is my first shot at this so I hope you like it.

But my enemies call me The Magpie." ↳ Maria Merryweather and her Uncle Benjamin are off to Jamaica for her uncle's final run. Maria has never been out at sea before and the month-long journey is getting torturous as is, so when she gets kidnapped by The Magpie, her first time on the ocean worsens. Maria learns of a rivalry between her privateer uncle and the infamous Cour de Noir while slowly falling for her captor who may be involved.

The Cuyen tribe were the protectors of the valley. They lived long ago as a peaceful tribe but as the De Noir clan grew, they shrank in size. Now only one remains. Astina. As the last of her kind, it falls upon her to keep Moonacre safe from any harm that might fall upon it. When the young moon princess arrives in the valley trouble seems to follow. Whilst trying to keep her out of harms way a young, curly haired De Noir boy catches her eye. With things beginning to go wrong, Astina realises she will have her work cut out trying too keep the peace and preventing the valley from being destroyed. But there are secrets that no one else in the valley know about and Astana may be more connected to the curse than she thinks.

Maria Merryweather, the last Moon Princess of Moonacre Valley, has defeated the curse that would've plunged the valley into eternal darkness and despair. But how will life be once the curse has been raised? And what about setting everything else right? Will the families come to peace as they learn to navigate their familiar but new surroundings?

Everyone knows how the the last Moon Princess saved Moonacre from being plunged into eternal darkness. But what about the young man in the shadows? The heir to the De Noir clan. The one who made it possible for Maria to find the Moon Pearls? What did he witness? What hardships and abuse did he shoulder from his father? What could've happened or been said that would make Robin De Noir put everything; his inheritance, title, and even his life; on the line to run to the aid of Maria Merryweather?

Often times when I'm alone, my mind conjures up the image of the pale white moon. It's large, so large that it looks as if it could swallow dear little Moonacre in all of it's entirety. And then I feel the crushing weight of water, swirling around me. My hands frantically try to swipe the pearls off the bodice of my dress as the cold waves push me down further. My lungs cry out for air but I still plummet to the bottom of the dark ocean. When I'm finally forced to gulp down the salty liquid, I'm at peace- serene. And everything fades to black... ------------------------------------ Maria and Robin seem to be in an endless dance; one day they take a step forward, the next they take a step back. With pressure and tension mounting, will they end up together, or will someone end up with a broken heart?

It all started about 100 years or so ago when the Moon Princess cursed the Moonacre Valley. Two men were to pay; Her father, Coeur De Noir, and her lover, Benjamin Merryweather. On the 5000 moon, it would crash upon Moonacre Valley and destroy it. Though, a young girl named Maria Merryweather, the next Moon Princess, was able to destroy the curse before it was too late. Now, two and a half years later, a new curse was placed upon Moonacre because Maria Merryweather left before breaking the Sun Lord's curse. The sun would crash upon earth, creating a blazing fire and would burn everything to the ground. Since the moon is smaller than the sun, the sun was going to destroy the whole earth. Dakota Winters is the one who shall break the curse. The Winters family is close friends with the Merryweather family and went on their side when the De Noir family and the Merryweather family were feuding and continued to feud. Though, Loveday De Noir and Benjamin Merryweather are married. Robin De Noir is expecting the arrival of Dakota Winters and is planning to execute her like his father had said. They believed that Moonacre Valley would only be destroyed, putting them in power. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Cooperate or be punished. Either way, you're coming with us." The De Noir bandit leader growled out. "Surrender? As in going down without a fight? You obviously don't know who I am." I state. I quickly turn and run away before his little friends and him could catch me. The trees passed by quickly and I was sure to get away as fast as possible from these savages.

BOOK 1 Rose Merryweather, the elder sister of Maria Merryweather goes to Moonacre Mannor after her father dies, everything seems odd and nothing makes sense. The mysterious De Noir Clan, the piano which plays music by its self, and who leaves the dresses up in her room? (I've edited the story to fit what I'd like to happen)

Or with her bird boy by her side? Will Maria be able to find the truth before it's too late? He was a badass with no love in his heart for anyone or anything except the forest. She was his muse. The one thing that broke him. The one thing he treasured. This story is based off Secret of Moonacre (If you haven't watched it a I recommend it its on Prime Video) Alexandria Merriweather is daughter of Sir Worlf (Her mom is not Loveday bc that would not work with the love interest) She was sent to America to go to boarding school but when she came back she returned to her normal self and has realized that England was a little out of date with her cousin Maria who she was really close with when little is coming because her father has died

Maria never ran into Loveday and left Moonacre. The resulting curse eliminated the entire de Noir bloodline and left Maria as the only one to carry on the Merryweather legacy. Over 100 years later, Jane is the last Merryweather and therefore the last Moon Princess. To restore the legacy of both the Merryweathers and the de Noirs she travels back in time to guide Maria on her path to lift the curse and save the valley. After the events of the movie Jane decided to stay in Moonacre a while longer, knowing fully well that she should return to her own time once more but she can't bring herself to leave just yet. Torn between her own reality and her new friends as well as her blossoming feelings for Robin, she must decide whether to go or to stay and leave her old life behind. Fae Goodwin is living off of rubbish, and the only food she gets is the food she steals. But the day she almost got caught by the people she stole from, she also got caught by the guy looking for an easy reward. Which happened to run straight into his arms. Now all he has to do is bring her back to the guards and collect his ransom. But will he be able to go through with it though or will Fae run away?
