Yuribek Stories

This is officially the sequel to Yuri!!! On Ice Book 1, but you don't have to had read that one to understand this one. This book carries an Otayuri-based plot and holds no carry-over from the first-- at least, nothing a reader wouldn't be able to understand. Taking place in 2017, this book follows the pair through several years of their lives, encountering obstacles and growing closer all the while. This summary sucks, I'm aware of that and I'll fix it sometime soon. But, for now, enjoy! EDIT (06/04/21): This story is a relic. Completed! This is a Yuri!!! On Ice fanfiction following the four main characters (Victor, Yuuri, Yuri(o), and Otabek if you weren't sure) through life after season one. I ship OtaYuri both romantically and platonically, and I don't really have a preference, but seeing as very few fanfics give importance to platonic love, I thought that I would write one that did. If there's one take away from Yuri on Ice, it's that love is a valuable and precious thing that takes place in many forms. This story is off of one of my headcanons that Yuri and Otabek are both asexual and aromantic, and their friendship goes from being very small to being a qpr (a queer/quasi platonic relationship, which is like dating, except without any romantic aspects, and in this case, without sexual aspects as well). OtabekYurio Hogwarts AU

When Yuri is dragged into a bakery by his best friend after their yoga class, he doesn't expect to like the desserts it makes, and he really doesn't expect to humiliate himself in front of the bakery's hot, if inexpressive, proprietor. But as he returns to the bakery, he finds that the proprietor isn't actually made of stone, and, incredibly, seems to like Yuri. But Yuri has a surprise up his sleeve, and, eventually, Otabek will, too. That's what life's all about, though, right? Surprise? When Yuri is dragged into a bakery by his best friend after their yoga class, he doesn't expect to meet the man he'll grow to love, nor does he expect to find his future in the confines of the tiny, homey shop. After traveling around for a while, Yuri makes his way back to his hometown to meet up with friends (aka Viktor pestering him to come visit since he left just over a year ago). Unexpectedly, he ends up running into his long-time competitor, yet first 'actual' friend, Otabek. With both surprised to see each other, Yuri said they need to catch up and hang out, while Otabek tried to hide his amazement about how Yuri went from a graceful, petite skater to Mr. Russia grabbing the attention of all the young skaters and fans alike. Yet he only had his eyes set on the one man who always saw more. ((Mentions of alcohol and probably more stuff added later on))

Otabek decides to come to Russia to train and be closer to his dear friend Yuri. Things might play out nicely, but will they stay that way when life gets in his way of confessing to Yuri?
