What happens when people start dying and you can see it happening? What happens when your best friend makes a soul binding deal with you? What if your family has secrets you thought you knew, but were wrong? 
    
    Compass knew her family wasn't normal but that never phased her. She also knew that life wasn't going to be easy. But she didn't know three things. Her best friend isn't who she thought he was. Her family has more secrets and some were specially about her. She's not only a guide but a weapon. 
    
    What will Compass do when she becomes a guide through a deal? What happens when people she though were only a myth and legend start a war for the weapon she is said to be?
