Opposites - ReVamped (Highlander/ Kindred: The Embraced Crossover)

Kindred (vampire) and Immortal should not mix - it is a volatile combination that can only bring trouble. Richie Ryan, protege of Duncan MacLeod, the Highlander, is in the wrong place at the wrong time, and finds this out only too clearly.

Richie is chasing an Immortal, Damon, who tried to cheat him of his head. Unfortunately Damon used to be a friend of MacLeod, so the Highlander has followed his protege to San Francisco. When they end up in The Haven and Mac mentions he used to know the owner of the club, they draw unwanted attention from the Kindred community.

Mac meets Lillie Langtry again after 60 years and sparks fly, even though neither can explain how the other is still young.

Richie finally finds his man, but is cheated of victory. He dies in front of Frank Kohanek, city cop, and at least 3 Kindred. To maintain the Masquerade, the Kindred powers that be interfere and discover there are things even they do not know about.

Immortals are fundamentally alive, Kindred hearts do not often beat-danger and chaos erupt when their paths cross.
