A Place In This Life

When it comes to boys, nothing's ever easy for Natalie Miller. With only one sort-of boyfriend in her book of experiences, this introverted loner is itching to discover real love. And just when it looks like she'll spend another summer vacation stuck on the family boat with no hope of finding a boyfriend, Todd pops out of the water, says hi, and tells her he has leukemia.

Natalie has never had attention like this from a boy, let alone one who's a real charmer with sex on the brain and the experience to match. Abandoned by his friends after diagnosis, Todd draws Natalie in like a magnet, wanting her friendship, her love, and her body. He also needs her to help him through what's left of his fragile life. Even when she's tempted by gorgeous, healthy schoolmate Alex, Natalie's desire to love and take care of Todd pushes her to see how far love can go in spite of the potential for death of the relationship - and death of the one she loves.
