The Night Letter

Intelligence Officer Stephen Vanderpoel is on his way to Afghanistan again. But now he has more on his mind than just tracking one of the most dangerous Taliban warlords in Kandahar. This time, he is leaving behind the woman he loves in a precarious psychological state as she faces a lawsuit that threatens her family fortune and perhaps their future together.

On base in Afghanistan, Vanderpoel clashes with his colleagues, each of whom is haunted by his own demons at home. But they must find a way to come together to face the ever shifting loyalties of their Afghani informants. When they learn that the warlord has infiltrated their base, they are forced to reckon with who among them is really a friend or an enemy. Lives, fortunes, and careers hang in the balance as the resolution threatens to tear apart even the survivors.
