Too Embarrassed is about a young woman who grew up with emotional abuse and as she develops into a woman, she slowly unravels the layers of her insecurities by joining the wrong crowds and sleeping with the wrong men. Her bad decisions weren't her fault, they were the product of always being told she wasn't worthy of anything else.
Just as she approaches 30, a huge derailment in her life forces her to take her power back. A miscarriage, a narcissist ex-boyfriend, and no money, force her to start making better decisions for herself.
She pushes herself to go back to school and graduates to become a successful Marketing Director in downtown Detroit. Just when life seems to be leveling out for her, they find her boyfriend's body.
Now the police won't leave her alone. After 10 hours in an interrogation room, she finally got the hint and asked for a lawyer. They claim to have all the evidence that she killed him, but what evidence could you have on someone who didn't do it?
