Shackett was pretty frustrated and felt like Ros wasn't present in the room. Ros was zoned out thinking about that night. Ros remembered the next morning and spaced out again.

The morning after the worst night of Roslyn's life, she woke up alone.

Ros sat on the floor because she was trying to get a low as possible, because that's how she felt. She always felt alone, as if no one understood her. The people closest to her had no idea how much she was suffering inside and they definitely wouldn't understand what just happened.

Ros crawled to the bathroom right next to her dorm, hoping no one would come in. It felt like a truck hit and dragged her to that spot. The avocado green tub suddenly didn't seem gross and she took a bath right after she threw up.

Ros canceled her classes by texting Jessica, Rox's sister, after she pulled herself from the tub to her bed.

Hey can you tell the front office that I'm too sick and to tell all my professors I won't be there?

Jessica didn't text back, and Ros didn't care because she figured Jessica was in her first class for the day and wouldn't be able to text back right then anyhow. Ros felt so sick that she didn't care if her professors were aware. She would certainly have the opportunity to explain, later. Right now she had to take care of herself and figure out what happened last night.

Ros started to replay the night and remembered the last drink she had. She didn't order it, it was handed to her by his brother. Ben's brother.

Ben's brother, Brian, was younger, kinder, and simple. You almost wonder about how smart or content Brian was. He could be a secret serial killer and playing it off or just that content and stupid, who knows. He always confided in Ros at every party or gathering because he was always alone, standing in the corner. A perfect compliment to social anxiety and willing to chat with anyone.

"Do you know why I told you all my secrets? Because I'd thought I'd never see you again." Brian said

Perplexed and unable to hide it, Ros quickly excused herself and wondered what secrets Brian was referring to. Surely, drunk and anxious were the only environments they have spoken, so it was likely Ros had a deep conversation with a stranger. It was likely she said things she shouldn't have.
Dammit. Ros thought. I've been too vulnerable, again.

What Ros didn't remember was imperative to what happened that night. She just didn't know it, then.
