The Queen of the Waves

Zauros. A sickness has taken root in the foundation of the land. First it took the old and the sick, then the young. When it started to come for the women, Mara knew she had to escape the plague.

Andonia. The only known place free of the plague and the only land that the people of Zauros can escape to. For Mara, luck appears to have arrived in her lap, her lover has been recruited as a sailor on a ship bound for Andonia and for safety. Full of hope and apprehension, Mara places her trust in her lover, only to be betrayed to a darker future.

The Golden Promise. A boat chartered to Andonia and the unwilling prison of Mara. Governed by a powerful Captain, and an even more cruel First Mate, Mara can only hope and pray that someone will hear her pleas for help.
