To the world, General Alessia Callisto has fallen, along with her legendary Squadron 63, the rest of the army, and the government. To the world, the Alynthi have risen, and there is no way to stop their tyrannical rule. To the world, there is no hope.

In reality? Alessia faked her death, went into hiding, and rose up as the rebellion's leader, the Phoenix. She began to travel the three sectors, recruiting allies old and new, and working alongside an Alynthi officer that just might happen to be more valuable than she thought he'd be.
