Killer and Cross are runaways, leaving behind Nightmare's castle, and in the end, their own life. They end up encountering Dream on the way.

Cross insists that Dream's trustworthy, and Killer's hesitant at first, but he couldn't say no to his lover, could he? Cross was actually a good person. So he went along with it.

Things are slowly healing now, but they can never end up getting a break.
