Aurora Deerfield was a prisoner of Sébastien Shaw until she met Erik Lehnsherr. Together the pair overcame the harsh torture they received. But she manages to escape and stumble across Charles Xavier, who causes her views to change. Aurora doesn't trust anyone so much that she struggles to decide if she's a human being like everyone else or was she only a weapon like Shaw always told her.
