The European Figure Skating Championships are not the only thing James Potter and his pair skating partner Lily Evans have to deal with when their biggest rivals arrive in London. The French pair skaters Regulus Black and Pandora Lovegood and their coach Mary Macdonald come for the competition, but James, Lily and their friend Sirius Black all have unfinished business with them.
Together with the sports journalist Remus Lupin, their best friend Peter Pettigrew and his ice hockey crew, the group uncovers a case of corruption in their favourite sport that is entwined with each of their fates.
