A twist to the story, Modern Prince.
Hugo travels back in time and after being accused of witchcraft, is saved by Prince Varian who wants him as his manservant at the castle. Hugo promises to grant the prince a cure to his illness if he just lets him travel back to his timeline. Double crossing a medieval prince could have disastrous results, especially if that prince is making Hugo fall head over heels.
