Meet Daniella Ellis, a 19-year-old, who reluctantly works in the City Hall library of Darres: The Dark City of Magic and Vampires because that's what's keeping food on the table. She chills aimlessly while remembering the agonizing dream she had the night before about a man that murdered her over three hundred years ago by piercing a sword through her heart. She loved him, and looked at him in disbelief, teary eyes before her body gave out and she fell to the floor and she breathed out her last breath...heartbroken...
After waking up in a sweat, with her heart hurting, beating a mile a minute, she promised herself she would never love any man in this life.

In this rollercoaster, only powered by envy, hate, love, and a bit of tears, can Daniella handle the rich, handsome and powerful vampire King Elijah James who after 300 years, returned to Darres to claim his position as rightful heir to the throne?

This year 21 Year old Hunter Brigley and his 7 year old sister Hope and 2 others are forced onto the plantation well before the lockdown and its a struggle from the moment the gate closes to stay alive. Hunter uses his common sense and logic to his advantage, but soon fear of loosing his sister overwhelms him and he soon finds out is just how confusing and distorted reality gets once inside the Plantation walls. He has to risk everything just to save his and his sisters life. And being descended from the very family that the ghost who supposedly haunts the plantation killed, doesnt put the odds in there favor.
