When Cordelia Swans parents divorce after her father is sent to prison, her life is flipped upside down. She begrudgingly moves with her mother to the other side of the country, where her mothers best friend lives. Her moms best friend, being the mother to Matheo Martinez. A new school, a new house, a new life, but the same old nightmare and childhood enemy.

As Cordelia and Matheo repeatedly argue and knock heads, they begin to form and uneasy truce, and shed their covers to reveal each others true selves.
