Cordelia's POV:I think that the sound of an alarm clock is truely the most torturous thing. I groan, rolling over to blindly tap at the screen of my phone until my alarm turns off. Then I fall back into a peaceful slumber.
———
"Swan!" A muffled voice shouts while banding their hands on my bedroom door.
I groan, pulling a pillow over the side of my head so that I'm sandwiched between the two. "What?" I call out in a groggy sleep filled voice.
My door flies open, and there in the frame is Matheo. I peek up at him, he's already dressed in his school uniform; the buttons of his school shirt undone, revealing the plaint white t-shirt underneath, the green gem'd necklace dangling from around his neck and falling in the centre of his chest.
"Are you kidding me? You're still sleeping?" He asks, crossing his arms over his chest.
"No," I mumble, "I'm just resting." I say, earning a scoff from Matheo.
"Well I don't give a shit," He begins, switching my bedroom light on. "I'm leaving with Maebelle in twenty minutes and I won't wait for you." He says sternly, before leaning up off of my doorframe and walking away, slamming the door behind him.
"Fall off a cliff!" I call out, before groaning into my pillow loudly and getting up from bed.
I pad down the halls and make my way to the bathroom I share with Mae, showing and doing my daily hygiene quickly before entering my room once again to do my skincare and some light makeup. I put on my freshly washed uniform that is hanging up in my wardrobe.
The weather has rapidly been getting colder, so I put a pair of sheer tights on underneath my plaid skirt, and the school sweater over the top of my button down blouse. I leave my hair the way it is, thick and straight, while holding up a little bit at the back with a clip.
With that, I grab my bag and phone, running down the hallway and down the stairs. With a confused expression, I look towards Carmen who is sitting in the kitchen drinking coffee while her designs are sprawled out on the dining table. "Where is Matheo and Mae?" I ask her, my voice rushed.
"Oh!" Carmen exclaims, pulling off the reading glasses she had resting against the bridge of her nose. "They just went to the car! I thought you went with them?" She says confused, "They only just left, they should still be in the driveway!"
I roll my eyes, I cannot believe he actually left. "No, I did not." I grumble, before giving her a half heart smile and pivoting to the front door. "Bye Carmen, have a good day."
"You two cariño," She calls out as I'm half way out the door. I smile over my shoulder, waving goodbye before dashing out the front door to see Matheo's stupid car driving down the driveway.
"Matheo!" I yell, running for the car that is almost out of the front gate.
Matheo slows the car, only enough for him to duck his head out of the car and smirk lightly, "Sorry princess! Can't hear you!" He calls out, turning up his music so loud that it drowns out everything.
