Cordelia's POV:My first week of school went by quickly, I mostly focused on catching up on my school work, and hanging out with Georgina at lunch and in the few classes we share together. I also managed to avoid Matheo as much as possible, which is a huge bonus.
It's now Saturday evening and I'm getting ready for the bonfire that Gigi told me about on Monday. After we went over the details, Gigi and I decided that she would come to my house at around 6:00 to take me to the party.
I put on a light amount of makeup, and I've left my hair is it normally is; slightly wavy, and a few inches just past my breasts. I don't know what everybody will be wearing, but seeing as it is getting cold in the air, and we'll be on a beach, I think I will wear my favourite pair of flared jeans and a long lined, tight tank top. As well as a hoodie incase I get cold.
The sound of the doorbell ringing fills the house, it must me Gigi. I hurry out of my room, and run down the stairs, where Mae, Carmen and my mom are all watching a movie.
I rush to the door and pull it wide open. Gigi is standing at the door with a big smile on her face. She's dressed in a denim mini skirt with a hoodie over the top, and a small handbag on her shoulder- a designer handbag by the looks of it. Her curly hair is left hanging down her back with only a little bit of it tied up at the back with a clip; she looks like a modal as always.
"Hi Gigi!" I exclaim, ushering her into the house.
"Hey! You about ready to go?" She asks, following behind me.
"Yep, but my mom wants to meet you," I give her an apologetic smile. I love my mom more than anything, but somedays she sure can be embarrassing. I get it though, mom wants to make sure that she is a nice person and not like the kids from my old school.
"Okay!" Gigi says.
I turn my head around to see Matheo waking down the stairs. He's wearing a cream coloured button down shirt, several of which are unbuttoned, and a pair of dark blue baggy jeans. He has a few rings on his fingers and he is wearing a thin black string/cord like material around his neck that has a small emerald coloured gem hanging from it.
"Georgina," Matheo nods at her, and she gives him a somewhat friendly smile.
"You must be Georgina!" I hear my mom say as she comes up towards us, Carmen and Mae following behind her.
"Hi! Yes I am, it's nice to meet you," Gigi says to my mom in her most polite voice.
My mom returns the favour, then Carmen speaks up, "Hi Georgina! How are your parents?" She asks.
"They're good! Dad's away on business in New York for the week, and my moms visiting my sister at Harvard for the weekend, but I'll let them know you say hi!" Gigi says with a big smile.
Carmen nods and smiles. "Well, I'm gonna go, I'm walking to the party." Matheo says.
"Okay, have a good night." Carmen says, rubbing his arm.
