A strong friendship is formed between Richard and Noel, Richard hasn't had a friend like this before, who he didn't have to hide parts of himself from. A small collection of successes and outside work (partially AU), with the help of Noel, Richard finds a whole group of people he still calls his friends to this very day. (there may be slight crossovers and alternative lines with Railtracks, given the time periods).
