Entering her junior year of high school, Haley Nowell had her entire life mapped out, but soon discovers pregnant after losing her virginity to her boyfriend.

With the support from her family, Haley decides to keep the baby and gets married. Juggling school and family comes easily to her, but she fast realizes there is more to deal with than maintaining a household as the stares and whispers bombard her with her school transferring her to a county school after Winter break because of her marital status. Haley soon realizes beyond books to win the battles ahead, but guts and will be needed. Will fighting to stay in her school be worth the trouble or should she put it aside for her own health?
