Kayla and Arin have been best friends since birth, but when his parents decide to move elsewhere they loose touch. When Kayla's mother decides she wants to get a divorce, her father gets abusive... this went on for many years and when Kayla finally graduates grade school her mother decides that they've had enough. When Kayla is seventeen they move, Kayla and Arin are reunited again and new feelings arise toward each other.
