These are the letters, I wrote beneath the moonlight, the words I never dared to send, to the one who will never read them. But still, I write. I bleed. I remember.

As boundaries are tested and patience wears thin, the narrator discovers that while their body remains seated at the table, their soul has already packed a suitcase, crossed oceans, and started a new life abroad. A hilarious and painfully relatable story about overstimulation, personal boundaries, social exhaustion, and the moment when "I'm being polite" transforms into "my spirit has officially left the building." Rocky, or Ramona, is my new poem on how a cat's soul inhabits my dog. P.S. This is purely fictional! Please don't assume that I practice any paranormal activities on my pet. Once upon another lazy afternoon, during my usual routine of doing nothing, I took a small break to notice that my lab was in fact playing with a wanton ball, and I had to jump to illogical conclusions. I just had to. Since he almost barked at me when I tried to take his knitting apparatus away, I knew. I knew he was a cat and that I better not mess with him. Do you also think he's a cat?
