These are notes. Not for the faint of heart.

A first-wing angel who goes by the unusual name of Derek has been struggling to get his second set of wings for a long time-three years, to be exact. However, with the epidemic of the literally soul-shredding drug Arbitrary plaguing Heaven and Earth, he is sent to the mortal world to not only discover who or what is really behind the mass destruction of the infamous drug, but to also realize the true purpose of his stale-mate in the wing rankings. Jax, on the other hand, is a mortal female, who's life is hanging on by a thread, not because of a disease, but because of herself. She's in need of a friend she hasn't got, and her family is completely out of the question. She just can't help herself but to grow somewhat curious about the life that her brother has been leading outside of their heartless home after he saves her from the empty wrath of their father, and on her journey to attempt to discover the "hype" behind it all, she finds herself in an all but pleasant situation, leading to even more of a harsh reality.

8 Evil Sins.

The Seven Vices have aged, only one of them is too greedy to pass his power to someone else. However, it didn't prevent the other Vices to take him down the by force. Marco Montana, the Vice of Greed, has no choice but to find a candidate to pass his power. The original vices of the Seven Deadly Sins need to pass their position and power to their sussccessor, or let their cardinal sin consume them from the inside out. By refusing to pass their sin to someone else dies an agonizing death, either by getting killed by the other Vices, or gets destroyed by their own vice. That is why the current Vice must find seven candidates to distribute a fraction of their power in order to determine which of the seven candidates are worthy to take on the deadly sin; Pride, Envy, Wrath, Lust, Greed, Gluttony, or Sloth. Forty nine candidates are elligible to play this game but only one out of each vice can become one of The Deadly Seven.

Lee Walters is trapped at Harmon's Institute for Troubled Teens and has been for over two years. Most he just goes through the motions, not getting better, not getting worse. Until the day a boy asks for him to share his smoke and, for whatever reason, he does.

These are poems about my vices and my hard times. They are part of what makes me a human. We are all weak for something. We should let these weaknesses connect us instead of shame us.
