This is part 2 for the double update. If you have not read the previous chapter, please go back and do so!!

"How are you feeling this morning Mei?" Midoriya questioned as Uraraka and herself stepped into the nurses station for a morning checkup before they went to breakfast.

"I'm good." She replied with a small yawn as she took a seat on the small cot.

"Does your head hurt?" The green haired man questioned as he began checking her pulse.

"Nope!" She replied happily with a smile. Mei was a strong little girl who seemed almost healthy. If her parents hadn't told the camp that she was sick, they never would have known. "Can you check my eyes so I can go get some food?" She asked as she looked to the green haired man. If there was one thing Midoriya had learned about Mei, it was that she wasn't a morning person.

"Follow the light." He said with a small chuckle as he brought a thin flash light up and examined both of her eyes. She did as she was told as her eyes followed the light moving back and forth.

"Well, you're all good to go." He said with a smile as he turned for his phone. He made the effort to give her parents an update every morning, something they really appreciated.

"Food?" She questioned with a smile as she turned towards her counselor.

"Yupp!" Uraraka replied cheerfully as Mei stood from the cot.

"Let me know if anything changes." Midoriya said with a smile as the two quickly exited the building.

"Will do!" Uraraka replied cheerfully behind her. The green haired man let off a small smile as he watched the duo rejoin the group through the screen door. Sometimes he hated the fact that he was trapped in the same building most of the day, but he knew that this is where he was meant to be. He let out a small sigh as he called Mei's parents. They answered immediately since they knew what time he called every day.

"Hello Midoriya." Mei's mother Hasume answered with a smile on the other end. She was always excited to hear about how her daughter was doing.

"Hello." He replied with a soft smile as he began writing Mei's information down in her day to day file.

"How is she?" Her mother questioned in a worried tone as rustling could be heard on the her end.

"She was perfect." He replied as he finished up her file. It was mainly a check list about how she was feeling everyday. Her parents had asked him to do it so they could give it to her doctor when she returned home.

"Any chance you could video call us?" Hasume questioned, causing Midoriya to pause in confusion.

"I can, is something wrong?" He asked in concern as he pulled his phone away from his ear to change to a video call.

"No, we just wanted to show you her scans and see what you thought." She replied as the video connected.

"I can look, but I'm not a surgeon yet." He replied with a soft smile as she popped up on his screen. She had beautiful wavy blond hair that hung past her shoulders and bright blue piercing eyes. Mei looked just like her mother.

"I know that, but I just want to know what you think about them. Our doctor said finding a second opinion is a waste of time and money because it is inoperable." She replied as she pulled out a film scan from a giant envelope.

"Well, show me what you've got." He replied with a calm demeanor, even though he was upset on the inside. For a doctor to say a second opinion is a waste of time and money was not okay, especially in Mei's case. She hardly seemed sick at all, so he couldn't see why the doctor said that a second opinion was unnecessary.
