Love in an Unlikely Place

Summer Camp

I'm backkkk!! Just a few quick things before we start this story. I didn't write it based on a certain country, so you'll see multiple different things in here that won't make sense to Japanese culture. Example, I know Japan does year round school and doesn't tip waiters/waitress's and things along those lines. So this story is in some made up country somewhere lol. Also, there is medical and law terminology in here. I am not a surgeon or a lawyer, so I wrote what I think worked best for my story. I know some of it may not be factually correct, but it usually isn't in books or movies anyway. This story does include mature themes (see description). Lastly, if there are any spelling errors or anything along those lines, feel free to point them out in a respectful way. This does not include the spelling of the names since Bakugo and Bakugou are both correct, they just differ on the translation. That pretty much sums it up, so happy reading!!

"So this is where you spend your summers?" Midoriya questioned with a nervous smile as he stepped off the bus onto a patch of freshly mowed grass.

"Yupp." Todoroki replied simply as the duo began looking around. It was a warm summer day and they just arrived to their summer job. Todoroki had been working at his families summer camp for as long as he could remember. He spent every summer imaginable here as a kid until he was 18 and could help be a counselor.

"It's beautiful." Midoriya commented as he looked around the beautiful scenery. Tree's filled most of their vision, but it was still a beautiful sight. He could see a few building here and there and plenty of seating area's. He couldn't wait to enjoy his summer here away from his home life. He needed a break. He was currently going to med school in hopes of becoming a surgeon one day. He usually takes a few extra classes in the summer, but he was running low on money to pay for his next semester. So he decided to take a break and get a summer job, that's the story he was telling everyone anyway. When one of his best friends Shoto Todoroki offered a job as a camp nurse, he couldn't say no. It was a great opportunity and would great on his resume, even if it was non surgical.

"Shoto, why don't you take Izuku to his cabin and show him around a bit." His mother offered as she walked up to the duo. "Your father will take your bags later and we can show everyone else around." She said with a soft smile.

"That works for us." Todoroki replied with a simple shrug before turning to Midoriya. "Follow me." He said towards his best friend with a smirk.

"O-okay." Midoriya replied as he struggled to rip his mind from his own day dream. The duo slowly walked through the entrance to the camp towards the picnic area in the center of two buildings.

"The big building on the right is the mess hall." Todoroki stated with a bored expression as he pointed to the big brick building on the right of the area they were standing in. "The one to the left is the nurses station, so that is where you will spend most of your time." Todoroki explained simply as he pointed to the much smaller brick building.

"Okay." Midoriya replied with a small smile as he glanced back and forth between the two buildings.

"If we walk past the nurses station over here, it takes us to the activity stations like crafting, reading and stuff like that." Todoroki explained as they landed behind the nurses station. There was one big building in the center with four smaller ones with a covered picnic area surrounding it. "The activities here change by day, so nothing has a designated spot." Todoroki explained before pointing to the building in the center. "That is for music activity. It will never change since there are actual instruments."

"Okay.." Midoriya mumbled in reply as he soaked in all the new information he was receiving.

"Back to the center area." Todoroki stated before turning on his heel towards the mess hall. "We aren't going to be walking all the way up there, but if you walk past the mess hall and up the hill, you'll find a bunch of areas to play sports or just mess around and have fun." Todoroki replied with a small smile as a certain memory of a certain girl flashed through his mind.
