"Hey." Bakugo said as he stepped outside into the breezy night air. It was currently one in the morning and he couldn't seem to get any sleep. Midoriya however fell asleep before dinner, so he was up for at least a few hours.
"Hey." Midoriya replied with a small smile as he sat on the cement stairs outside the cabin door. "When did you wake up?" The green haired man questioned as he turned towards the blond with a sad smile. Truth be told, he still wasn't feeling better after getting into it with Sero.
"I never fell asleep." Bakugo replied with a simple shrug as he sat down next to the green haired man.
"So you've been staring at the ceiling the entire time?" Midoriya questioned with a small smile.
"Well, I like to shake it up every once in a while. So every few minutes, I would glance to the wall." The blond replied with a toothy grin, causing Midoriya to let out a small laugh. When the laughter died down, the duo sat there as they enjoyed the slight breeze the summer night was providing. They listened to the sound of the trees rustling and the crickets chirping, it was peaceful.
"Green." Midoriya said suddenly as he looked up to the beautiful stars in the sky. The blond turned to him before giving him a confused look.
"What?" He questioned.
"My favorite color is green." He replied with a smile as he turned his gaze from the night sky to the man sitting next to him. The blond sat in confusion for a few more seconds before a small laugh escaped his lips. He almost forgotten about their conversation on the dock the day before. "What about yours?"
"Orange." Bakugo replied with a smile.
"So what construction is happening with your bar?" Midoriya questioned as he recalled the previous conversation from the first day they met.
"I'm expanding." He replied with a shrug. "It is pretty small and crappy at the moment, but it's going places. I only had a bar and four small tables inside before I started remodeling. I am moving over a few blocks and opening an outside and rooftop area as well as an area for games and other things like that. Hopefully it is going well right now. I haven't talked to them today."
"What's your bar called?" Midoriya questioned.
"Dynamight." The blonde replied with a smirk. It was one of the most popular bars in town, despite it's small size. Midoriya's eyes widened when he heard the name of the bar. He had been there a few times with Sero. It was really close to both of their schools, how has he never met the blond until now?
"Do you work there yourself?" He questioned as he recalled the nights he had spent there.
"Almost everyday." The blond replied with a shrug. "I don't work weekends as much since it's the big tip nights. My employee's usually ask to work it instead." That made more sense. Sero went there almost everyday, but Midoriya only joined on the weekends when he was asked to go.
"So why did you wait until now to expand?" The green haired man questioned as he looked back to the sky.
"I wanted to wait till we were away from the holidays. My employee's are without pay at the moment, so I didn't want to do it around Holidays or anything like that. I had been wanting to expand since late last summer." He explained as he turned his gaze towards Midoriya, admiring his freckles once more.
"That's thoughtful of you." The green haired man replied with a wide smile as he turned his gaze to Bakugo. The blond's face began heating up as his cheeks turned a bright shade of pink. Thankfully, it was dark outside and Midoriya wasn't able to see the massive blush on his face.
