Mitch and Scott always spent Christmas together. They always went to Scott's parents house or Mitch's parents house and the whole family would get together and Celebrate.
Scott was playing the piano while Mitch was singing as their nieces and nephews ran around, giggling.
Mitch and Scott's mom's walked out of the kitchen with wine and smiled at the two boys as they finished the song.
"Boys, there are cookies and wine in the kitchen." Mitch and Scott nodded and got up as the parents walked back to the kitchen with the nieces and nephews following.
Scott looked both ways before pulling Mitch by the arm and pecking his lips. Mitch smiled "what was that for?" Scott shrugged "I hate this."
Mitch bit his lip "I know, but no one can know." Scott whispered as he said "Mitch, we've been dating for 3 years." Mitch nodded "I know, but if we tell them it will complicate things. Pentatonix will be awkward because-"
Scott cut him off "because people will know we're dating?" Mitch sighed "just...I'm sorry...I'm just not ready." Mitch walked away towards the kitchen and Scott took the ring box out of his pocket before sighing and putting it back.
He joined them in the kitchen and saw Mitch laughing at something his sister had said.
Scott smiled at the sight and said "hey, Mom, can we go out?" Connie looked at Scott and shrugged "you're grown men, Scottland, you can do whatever you want." Lauren said "why don't you take Landon, Sara and Charlie out for Hot Chocolate."
Sara was Mitch's nice and Landon and Charlie were Scott's nephews.
Mitch smiled "of course. Come on guys!" He said cheerily as Sara, Landon and Charlie rushed to get their coats on.

That's how it was for the past few days before Christmas.
Scott would ask Mitch about them as a couple, Mitch would say he's not ready and they were back at square one.
Scott hated it and that's why he was relieved when it was finally Christmas.
Scott was holding Mitch close to him in a make out session in his room as Mitch moaned "Sc-Scahhh-" he said as Scott got his sweet spot.
Scott smirked and immediately pulled back when there was a knock at the door "UNCLE SCOTT, IT'S CHRISTMAS! SANTA CAME. LOOK!"
"WHERE'S UNCLE MITCHIE?!" Another voice yelled.
Mitch giggled a little as he heard Mike say "Kids, leave them alone. Come on." The pitter patter of their feet run down the steps.
Mitch giggled as Scott grabbed his hand "come, let's open some prezies." Mitch laughed at how Scott sounded like a little child.

After all the presents were opened Scott said "actually there is one more present...Mitch?"
Mitch looked up from text Kirstie a 'Merry Christmas' "what?"
Scott said "Mitch....I know you keep saying you're not ready but it's been three years and I know that I want to spend a life time with you. I love you. So Mitchell Coby-Michael Grassi...will you do me the honor of becoming my husband."
Mitch gasped as Mitch got down on one knee and opened a black velvet ring box Mitch had tears brimming his water line and he looked at the family, who was looking confused as ever.
He laughed and looked back at Scott "yes....yes I will." Scott slipped the ring on Mitch's finger and they laughed as the pulled away.
"I love you Scott Hoying"
"I love you too Mitchell Grassi."
