Dawn's POV

"It's time for dinner Miss Dawn." A knock came from the other side of the door.

I remained crouching down behind the sofa refusing to move.

I shouldn't be here. I should be at school studying right now.

'Hansol said that i might get harmed. The easiest way to not get harmed is to avoid it...right?'

"Miss Dawn? I'm gonna come in, okay?" The voice outside spoke before the sound of door being unlocked was heard.

Light footsteps found its way to me. I looked up to see Sora, the familiar maid with sparkly eyes, wearing blue lacy dress.

"Miss Dawn it's time for dinner. The young master is waiting for you."

"I will not move. Not until you tell me what exactly is happening. I don't know any of you and I don't eat with strangers." I remained sitting still, tightening my arms around my knees.

Sora sighed before kneeling next to me,
"Miss Dawn, I know you are afraid, but it will be scarier if you refuse to face it. We will not harm you."

'Hansol told me to trust him. Will he save me?'

"What happened to Hansol?" I heard myself spoke, moving my gaze to Sora who look blank.
"He was with me. They kept him inside one of the barrels. Where is he?"

Silence engulfed us for a moment.
"...who's Hansol?" She muttered. Her eyes blinking cluelessly.

She doesn't know him?

'Of course she doesn't. He's from a different league.' I mentally face palmed myself.

"You know Miss Dawn, for now, you should eat. There's nothing to be afraid of, do you trust me?" Sora continued, brushing it off.

'He told me the same thing, 'don't be afraid, trust me'

I took a deep breath before reaching out to her extended hand.

"Come on" she whispered before leading me out of the extremely big bedroom.

She guided me down the golden staircase, the place is indeed so big that your footstep echoes.

We halted in front of a big oakdoors, opening it to reveal an extremely long golden table, the chairs have velvet-coloured cushions, and a really big chandelier hanging in the middle of the high ceilinged room.

Sora held me by the elbow, pushing me towards one of the chairs before forcing me to sit down.

After my butt touched the comfortable chair, around 20 women wearing maid attires(unlike the one Sora is wearing) made their way to the table, placing down different mouth watering dishes, placing down expensive-looking champagnes and the silver eating utensils.

It looks like a feast.

"The Young Master is here. Everyone move away."

All of the maids immediately lined up to the side, bowing their heads low.
The door opened, revealing the arrogant guy named "Junhwi".

He took the seat opposite mine. Everyone went silent. Not even breathing can be heard.

Junhwi reached out for the foods, filling his plate. Before silently eating, he did not even spare me a glance.

I stayed silent watching him enjoy his meal before Sora stood beside me offering me dishes and placing foods on my plate.

"Don't force her to eat if she doesn't want." Junhwi placed his fork and knife down. Wiping his lips with a napkin before his drowsy-looking eyes met mine.

"You've been staring at me for the whole time, are you perhaps.....awed?"

My mouth hang open as i stare at this guy in disbelief. Other than he is so arrogant from our first meeting, he's a narcissistic  too.

"I believe you haven't introduce yourself yet...sir" I uttered, i can feel myself shaking a little,

Junhwi raised one brow before leaning his back on the chair. A smirk on his lips

"I didn't know an introduction is necessary. Fine, my name is Moon Junhwi, I'm a Young Master here, and all of these maids are my servants. The soldiers outside are under my command too."

His way of speaking sounds boastful. I took another deep breath for the nth time today, before mustering my courage,

"Well...Junhwi, can you explain what's happening? I'm from Earth," I spoke.

I heard a couple of giggles behind me while Junhwi looks at me in disbelief,

"Listen, I'm a Young Master here. You're not allowed to call me by my name. Geez. I thought this woman knows respect." He continued giving me glares.

I curled my fist into a ball urging myself to calm down. If only Myungho is here with me, he would have beaten this guy to death.

I inhaled, and exhaled before opening my mouth again.
"Okay...Young Master Junhwi, can you please tell me what's happening? And what happened to Hansol?" I kept my fingers crossed, wishing that this guy at least is kind enough to feed information to my brain cells.

He stared at me directly, he looks like he's trying to read my facial expressions. I decided to keep an innocent-desperate one.

"Your friend Hansol sad to say...had escaped when you guys are on the way here after being captured. Teleportation power being put to good use, you think?" Junhwi maintaned a mysterious facial expression on,

I feel slightly intimidated by him. I don't know if I should be happy without Hansol here or not because I won't be able to escape without him.

I forced my self to have a neutral expression, for some reason i feel like i should not show anything to these people.

"Then...what's happening Young Master? What is this place and what do you need from me?"

Junhwi leaned forward, not breaking his gaze from me,

"First, what happening? I'm not supposed to answer that. Second, what do we need from you? Not gonna answer that either. The King will discuss those matters with you, Miss Dawn." He gave me a blank smile, before moving his eyes to look behind me,

"Lastly, can you give her a bath? She stinks, also, give her proper clothes...not those...ragged clothing."

He gave me one last look filled with disgust before standing up, exiting the dining hall.

Sora rushed to me, urging me to finish my meal even though i already lose my appetite.

'I stink??? Ragged clothing???'

"Miss Dawn, eat up. The jacuzzi is prepared for you,  also, there are a lot of dresses that you will try on."

I shut my eyes tightly, feeling my head in pain. I just want to go home.

I wonder, is everyone out there looking for me at home? Does Myungho knows this place?
