Chapter Two: Carat Land

Dawn's POV

I slowly opened my eyes, feeling dizzy and uncomfortable. Slowly sitting up, a hand on my aching head.

'Where am i? What happened?' I muttered to myself, glancing around what seems like a military aircraft.

'How did i got here?'

"You're finally awake, it has been 2 weeks." A man's voice spoke, making me turn around.

As soon as i met those hazel brown eyes, the series of memories immediately flashes in my head.

This man...kidnapped me...

"So...if you cannot remember, my name is Vernon but i prefer being called Hansol." He gave me a straight, blank smile.

"Where am i?" I stood up. The only thought in my head is to escape this creepy handsome guy.

"You're in my spacecraft. We're in space. Cool right?" He grinned.

My mouth hanging open as i stare at him. My heart suddenly beating fast

SPACECRAFT??? WHAT?

"First, sit down. I will explain" Hansol held my shoulders and forced me to sit down.

I was about to open my mouth to speak when he immediately shut me off.

"Have you heard of Diamond Corporation?" Hansol asked, making me frown. I heard of that. That's Myungho's family's company.

"--apparently, your life is in grave danger because of them. I cannot explain further except for the fact that you should not be afraid." Hansol reached out for my hand, clasping it together.

I'm in danger because of Myungho? What would a billion-dollar company got to do with me?

"Listen, can you please cut this crap? Because it doesn't make any sense. Why would my bestfriend's company be involve in this?" I glared at him. He seemed frustrated.

"You have to trust me-- I mean, i admit i don't look trustworthy at all but you have to. I am from an organization called Eagle's Command, our leader sent me to make sure you will be on proper hands. So don't be afraid, some people will try to take you away, i will protect you." I forced myself to nod at him.

"Are we really in a spacecraft?" I muttered with shaky breath.

"Yes. I'm bringing you to an undiscovered planet yet by NASA, it's called the 17th planet. Apparently, the discovery was hidden by Diamond Corporation, the reason? I wasn't supposed to be the one telling you."

I seriously cannot comprehend anything the he says. Maybe it's because i'm enchanted by his beauty or just because it doesn't make sense. I barely pass my Earth Science exam and now i'm being transported to a different planet?

The light suddenly turned red and a beeping sound repeatedly echoed inside the spacecraft.

"Looks like we're here." Hansol stood up, before glancing at me.

"Welcome to Carat Land, Miss Dawn. Before we go out, i want you to prepare yourself, my leader made it clear to me that i should warn you," Hansol cleared his throat before resuming,

"You will be witnessing things that you cannot witness on Earth. Supernatural, yes. If you still don't believe with superpowers, i want to remind you how i entered your room despite of the locked door."

Though clueless, I think for now i need to believe whatever this handsome mad man is saying.

3rd Person's POV

"This doesn't look any different from Earth. It looks just like the same but without you know...buildings.." Dawn said,

She can't believe she's actually in a different planet when all she dreamt about is going to another country.

In the middle of their leisure walk,
"Where is he? He's supposed to be with us by now," Hansol said, his tone uncertain but even so, he still walked straight

"Who?" Asked Dawn, trying to catch up to Hansol's pace

"Someone should be here to meet us but he's nowhere in sight." Hansol muttered breathlessly. He seemed exhausted.

"Stop...from your tracks," a male voice suddenly spoke

Dawn whipped her head really fast that she felt dizzy

She closed her eyes for a moment to shake the dizziness away, and the moment she opened them again, they were surrounded with a dozen guys, wearing armors and gears.

Standing in the middle, is a man whose tall, dark and handsome. Dawn won’t deny it because he really is.

Hansol stood right infront of Dawn shielding her.

'This is something that i only get to watch in dramas before,' Dawn thought.

“Who are you?” Hansol asked the unknown guys. There were a lot of other guys in metal suit. The tall guy seems to be their leader

“Give us the chosen heiress or you will die.” The tall guy warned.

“No, never.” Hansol sternly said.

“What’s happening?” Dawn asked Hansol in a small voice.

'Chosen Heiress?'

“You will die infront of her. It will be an honor right?” The tall guy pointed his sword at us and swing it to Hansol’s face.

But before the sword hit his face, Hansol was able to teleport just in time, however, since he is not in great condition, he only teleported a few feet away, he managed to bring Dawn with him.

The tall guy then looked at Hansol, he seemed surprised for a moment,

"Catch them!" He yelled,

The soldiers immediately obeyed, running their way to Hansol and Dawn who look helpless.

Holding Dawn as tight as he could, the last thing he wanted is Dawn being taken away.

When they were closing in, Hansol tried to teleport them again, however, it's not working. He tried again, but he can't. He used the maximum capacity of his power.

"We're doomed."

That's all he said to Dawn, right before a cold metal hit his head, and his body hit the ground.
