Chapter Three: The Castle

Dawn's POV

I was thrown to the floor by these people the moment we step foot in. I can only see the floor but i know this is not an ordinary castle, the ambiance says so.

Are these the people that Hansol warned me about? Are they the people who will harm me?

"I've brought her in, safely just like how you instructed," the tall, dark and handsome guy spoke

"You're back early. Hoshi is not here yet,"
A voice of god--- i mean a voice of a guy suddenly echoed across the room accompanied by a couple of foot steps before he stopped right in front of me.

"Is that her?" He asked

I looked up to him and the moment i did i know it was a mistake. He doesn't only have the voice of the god, but he...has god-like visual too.

He is staring at me with those small judging eyes, his left eyebrow raised, and his tall prominent nose very visible from below.

"When they we're talking about the said heiress, they should have chosen someone pretty. Geez. Those people..."

I was...taken a back. Despite of his pretty appearance, this guy speaks rudely.

"You did a great job, Mingyu. Now....uh... You! Bring her to the room that you prepared,"

A lady wearing a nice blue lacy dress came forward, her skin milky white, and her long straight dark brown hair with curls at the end covers her face as she kept her hair bowed low.

She held my right arm, i was expecting a rather harsh tag, but instead my arm met a delicate soft touch,

"Please stand up, miss..." Her voice soft and sweet

"Make sure to lock the door after escorting her in. We cannot do anything without the King's instruction." The arrogant guy added.

King? Of course this is a castle...but...really?

I stood up shaking very lightly, she escorted me out of the room and to the spiral staircase leading upstairs, i looked around. So this is how it feels like to be in a castle? Every corner, a soldier is present. If ever things get out of hand, i won't be able to escape.

We stopped in front of a big oak double doors. The lady who escorted me let go of my arm,

"Please stay still," I badly wanna break into a run.

She opened the big doors, and my eyes met a very bright light i was temporarily blinded.
My eyes adjusted to the light and the lady was standing in front of me, the light makes it look like she's glowing.

"Please come inside, this will be your room starting from now on,"

I took a cautious step in and this bedroom, is almost as big as my house back in earth.

I looked at the back of the lady who's closing the doors.

"What's your...name?" i asked

The moment she faced me, is the first time i have seen her face as she did not kept her head low anymore,

She is really pretty.

She smiled at me and went closer.

"My name is Sora, and like what i've heard you must be Miss Dawn,"

This girl looks really sweet and nice, i almost feel like i'm talking to a doll. And her eyes, if I were to describe it, it's the prettiest pair of eyes i have ever seen.

"Sora? That's a nice name. Since this is a castle...are you perhaps...a princess?" i asked cautiously

She looked at me with those amused sparkly cheshire eyes.

"I'm a maid." She said her tone flat, and her eyes blinking.

Oh she's a maid--- wait... She's a what????

How can a maid look this pretty??? And why everyone in this household look breathtaking???

"Pardon me for asking this but if you're a maid, are you perhaps Cinderella?" I blurted out without thinking

"Pardon?" Sora asked she seemed speechless

"Nevermind that one. You seem really nice and trustworthy, i can ask you something, right?"

She slowly nodded. Her pretty eyes fixed staring at me. She looks like she's reading my entire being.

"Well first of...where am i? I mean, i know i'm in a different planet and a castle but where exactly am i? And who are those people earlier?"

She stayed silent for a moment. Her eyes blinking.

"You're in Tigers' Den Castle and the people earlier are Kim Mingyu, the guy who brought you here, and Young Master Moon Junhui, the one who instructed me to show you your room,"

'Tigers' Den??? What the heck is that name? Does that mean there are tigers around?? Or it's just a name?'

"Yes. There are tigers around but they don't roam around the castle. They mostly stay in one place." Sora said.

'Did i just think of it out loud?'

"Yes you did."

I looked at Sora, and Sora's looking back at me. We blinked.

"So...can you explain to me what is Tiger's Den?" I said gathering my composure once more,

She remained staring at me with amused eyes, silence engulfing us for a moment before she showed me a small smile.

Is she judging me?

"I'm sorry Miss Dawn, but i think i should head back to the maid's quarters now. I was only instructed to bring you here and i ended up taking more time." She bowed her head in a small respectful bow.

"Please call us if you need anything. I'll be going,"

As the door closed, I was left alone in the room, blocking every sound that came from outside.

I am in Tigers' Den, but as i recall, Hansol mentioned that he is from Eagle's Command. What exactly is going on?
