Chapter-6 Dangerous Surprise

I looked around she was nowhere to be found. I could here some voices coming from basement. I tip toed towards basement. Today what I saw was unbelievable. Harry was with a knife again. He was about to stab Nikki. I was watching the whole scene quitely. He stabbed Nikki!! Nikki layed dead and he was pulling her body along the floor and threw it in a cupboard. I gathered some courage and came out. I saw a pistol lying on a nearby table. I picked it up and asked Harry,"why did you kill Nikki, you were best friends, I thought you'd never harm her". He was coming closer as if he was trying to explain something. I warned him,"don't ever think of that".

Suddenly the door of the cupboard opened and Nikki came out laughing hilariously. I was stunned for a second. Harry also started laughing. I apologized Harry for the misunderstanding. He replied it's ok. I asked them, "what were you both doing in the middle of the night?" Nikki wasn't able to control her laugh and started to explain," I asked Harry what you did with the woman whom you killed the morning. So I asked him to create the scene again and you were watching the recreation of the scene. I had understood everything.

I was upset. Then Harry came near me and said,"it's not your fault Arnold,you have seen me killing a woman and it's absolutely okay if you had a misunderstanding that I stabbed Nikki." He added," don't always think that I'm a serial killer, I'd never harm you or Nikki. Remember that."

Nikki interrupted us,"Arnold is also here so can we teach him, Harry." I gave them a serious look and asked, "what?" She replied, "some fighting skills". I was dazed. She added,"boi, don't look at me like that, don't you think you're a coward and super weak. You could be an easy prey."

I replied," yeah I wanna learn that, but would it help me." Nikki replied rudely,"yeah it would if you're brave enough". Harry interrupted, "don't be so rude Nikki, he's just a child. We cannot teach him at this time of the day. We'd teach him in afternoon ,
when he returns from college."
"Yeah like we taught Hana in her school days" replied Nikki.

I shrieked, "WHAT!!!"." Hana learned fighting from you?". "Why'd she ever need to?". Nikki replied,"she just wanted to learn fighting to protect herself because the person she loves is a weak coward ". My face turned pink with happiness. It was me whom she loved but never confessed it.

Nikki said,"Arnold, stop dreaming. Let's go to sleep tomorrow you have to attend college. From tomorrow you'll be with or nearby Hana. I bet you'd be absolutely safe with her.
I will have a talk with her tomorrow morning". Harry slept in the guest room and we both went to Nikki's room to sleep.
