Chapter-12 Lesson For Lifetime

When we returned home, Nikki scolded me, "thank God, Harry covered up everything. Who the hell told you can kill anyone." I apologized for Hana's mistake and said it will never happen again." I asked Nikki, "But where do you and harry keep the corpses?". Nikki replied, "why do you wanna know that?" I said," no, I was just curious." Nikki answered back," we keep the corpses of people in the abandoned parking lot in the outskirts of the town. So should we continue with our training?"

We had the training for 2 hours and the phone rang, I ran to pick up the phone. When I answered the call and said," hello." The person started speaking," Nikki, have you killed him?" I was dazed, I passed the phone to Nikki. She talked and hung the phone. I asked her," whom you are gonna kill now?" Nikki made a fearsome face and said," Arnold Scott Lewis." I was so terrified that I was stunned for a while. Nikki cackled and said, "you're too dumb, Arnold. Would I ever kill you, sweetie?".

We went to the kitchen and had dinner. Nikki said," let's go to bed." I replied, "Nikki I'm sorry I'm not gonna sleep in your room, now onwards I will sleep in my room." Asserting this I went to my room. I laid down on the bed but was unable to sleep. At a sudden, I saw a shadow on the wall in front of me. Someone was trying to open my window!!

It was horrific, I was mentally prepared to fight. He was with a large knife, about to stab me. I quickly stood up, covered his face with my blanket and grabbed the knife from his hand. I stabbed him, the man was dead. I felt ashamed of myself, I've killed someone. I dragged him till Nikki's bedroom. I knocked on the door, Nikki came out immediately. She was shocked to see the dead body.

Nikki asked me, "what happened? You killed a guy!!! Why did you kill him?" I explained everything to her. She was grateful that I didn't get hurt. We took the body to the abandoned parking lot. We both quickly buried him underground.

When I returned to my home, I saw a mobile phone lying in my room. I quickly took it and started scrolling the call log. A man named Hudson called him over 10 times! I started to think about why someone would like to kill me. I tried to sleep again but was unable to, the thought of killing him was floating in my mind. At last, I ignored every thought and tried to sleep but failed again. I took my phone, put my headphones on and started listening to music thinking it would make me calm. My mood became a bit better after some time and I went to sleep at last at 2:30 Am. It was just a horrible day.
