The (h/c) haired wolf skidded to a stop.
He was sure that none of the crows had follow him.

The wolf put his hands on his knees and took deep breaths.
This was his first time running for almost 5 hours straight with injuries all over his body.

Speaking of injuries, his wounds were killing him.
That regeneration flower was the only healing he could find, but the silver crow took it before the wolf could get to it.

The wolf sighed in sadness.

First his aunt died.
Then his clan.
Then his parents.
And now he is probably on both crow and human hit list.
Just fantastic!

The (h/c)-ette walked around searching for any common or uncommon healing pants he can use for himself.
Sadly he didn't find any, only one common healing flower.

[Golden Healing Flower - Common]

Our wolf picked the flower and started to look around.
He needed some sort of bowl and a rock to mash the flower so he could drink it.

His (e/c) eyes landed on an old wooden bowl with a chipped edge.

He walked to the old bowl and picked it up along with a rock that laid beside it.
The (h/c)-ette examined the two objects and sniffed them to double check.
The wolf nodded, pleased he had found some unused materials, there was no scent on them.

The wolf walked for a bit and came to a river. The sound of the water rushing was calming to the wolf, he finally felt at peace.

The wolf bended down to the slightly rushing water.
He cleaned the bowl and rock so no dust, dirt or bugs get inside him.

Once he finished cleaning, the male out the flower into the bowl and started to grind it with the rock.

The flower turned into a liquid gold.
The wolf smiled satisfied with the results.

He cupped one hand and filled it with the river's water.
The water went into his hand and he put the fresh water into the bowl with the gold like liquid.

The wolf now cupped the bowl and drank the liquified healing, while closing his eyes.
He sighed in relief as he feels the healing effect.

The male opened his eyes and looked down the river that held his reflection.
The bruise on his left cheek was now faded, but the scratches on his right stayed the same.

(H/c) ears flatted seeing the healing wasn't enough.
The wolf ears went to the side when he heard rustling from the bushes near him.

(E/c) eyes widened as he stood up, ready to pounce on anyone who was trying to attack him.

The rustling came to a stop.
The wolf left out a low and almost silent growl.

A deer walked out of the bushes and looked blankly at our wolf.
It was brown, no antlers, it was a normal deer.

The (h/c)-ette sniffed the direction of the deer and eased his stance and eyes.
(H/c) ears perked up in curiosity, (h/c) tail wagging slightly.

The deer came up to the (e/c) eyed boy and sniffed in his direction.
The wolf kept still.

The deer was so close to him that he could touch it.
The female sniffed the wolf's hair.

She than licked the slightly bruised cheek and started to walk away on the edge of the river.
The wolf stood there dumbfounded and confused.

He noticed the deer looked back at him.
Confused even more, the wolf cocked his head to the side.

The deer huffed and motioned her head towards her, as if saying 'You're coming with me.'

(E/c) eyes widened but then softened as he nodded.
The wolf ran to the deer and walked besides her as they both walk on the edge of the almost silent river.

There was no words said, but there wasn't a need to.

The wolf had a slight smile as he walked with the deer who decided to take care of him for a bit.
