Day 2 of healing. A few hours since the met up of baby crow and pup.
The wounds were closing nicely for the wolf. At least the wolf could run and move a bit without pain anymore.
It was noon. Kiyoko had already checked up on the (h/c)-ette.
She's say that the wolf could leave in a day or sooner, which made him very excited. Soon, he didn't have to depend on the female crow anymore.
Y/n hummed to himself as he laid back on a tree trunk. His (e/c) eyes were closed. He was completely relaxed.
He hadn't had much relaxation since his clan's fall. So, this was refreshing.
There was a sound of bushes rustling. (H/c) ears perked up.
Afraid, the wolf hid behind the tree he was resting on. He peeked over to see who was coming here.
The wolf saw a tall male with brown hair, which was tied into a bun by some vines, and a matching stumble. He had the clan's kimono and large adult crow wings. He looked intimidating at first but once the wolf examined him carefully, the crow looked distressed and sad.
The crow slowly walked up to the small pond and sat on the edge. He sighed to himself.
The wolf sniffed in the crow's direction. He could sense no danger from him and could tell he was upset with something.
Y/n tried to keep silent, but his body was against him today. He felt a sneeze coming up his throat.
The (h/c) haired male pinched his nose, in order to stop it. It worked and he sighed, quietly, in relief.
"A-chu-!" The wolf put his hands over his mouth.
The brown haired crow whipped his head to where the wolf is. Brown eyes met (e/c) eyes.
They both panicked. Internally for the wolf and externally for the crow.
The brunette swiftly stood up and waved his hands around.
"I-I'm s-sorry this is your a-area, ri-right?!? I'm so s-sorry for disturbing y-you!!" The crow said frantically.
Now the wolf externally panicked. He waved his hands around and let out a whimper of distress, but no words came out.
"I-I'll l-leave you!! A-again I'm so so sorry!!" The crow quickly turned around but was stopped by something gripping onto his sleeve.
The brunette turned his head and saw that the wolf had latched himself onto him. The wolf had big pleading (e/c) eyes. And those eyes struck the taller's heart.
The crow blushed profusely. So much that he almost blew a fuse. He did freeze in his place.
"E-etto.... Please s-stay..." the wolf said very quietly.
"I-I don't want to be a burden..."
The (h/c)-ette shook his head and tightened his grip, "I d-don't mind. Plus, it gets lonely here..."
The crow looked conflicted. He still had a blush on his cheeks.
"A-a-and it looks like you need someone to talk to," the wolf added looking at the ground.
The crow thought for a bit.

Asashi, they both introduced each other, laid in Y/n's lap as he played with his brown hair. Since they were going to talk to each other they both decided to get comfortable.
Asashi has his hair down and out of the bun. He liked it when people played with his hair, it calmed him.
Currently, the crow was talking about his problem. Y/n listened intensely as he braided and played with the taller's hair.
"-and, I mean, this might sound selfish, but I don't want people to see me as a scary guy. My friends tell me Ima big softy but other people think I'm, like, a predator or some kind of bad guy!"
The wolf hummed.
"A-and I'm not like that... I just want to make friends, like some other people than my friends. Sometimes, I kinda want a break from my original group and talk with someone else ya know?"
The wolf nodded and hummed in agreement.
The crow sighed, "But whenever I try to talk with someone else or even approach them, they get scared and run away... Sometimes others think I'm there to fight them. I'm not a fighter!! That's why I'm a caretaker, not a protector."
The (h/c)-ette combed the crows hair as he listened.
Asashi sniffed and held in a sob, "I-I don't get i-it.... I just want to make new friends, b-but everyone just seems to scared of me... I-I don't know what to do anymore..."
The wolf was a bit silent but kept combing Asashi hair. He stopped suddenly making the other look up at him.
"People can judge you all they want. But true friends see past the looks. Those people, if you did become friends with them, will not be real friends. People will stay as your friend because of their personality not because of how cute, wild, or good looking you are. If people don't take the time to get to know you, they are not worth it."
Y/n smiled in a calming and caring manner. Asashi blushed a bit but smiled back to, tears building up.
"Th-thanks Y/n, you are a true friend."

The sun was beginning to set. The brunette had a new hair style that the wolf was proud of.

Asashi waved goodbye to the wolf. Y/n waved goodbye back, with a smile.
The crow to walk back to his village. The wolf watched as the big softy disappeared.
The (h/c)-ette smiled brightly. He made another crow friend.
