"How many apples do we have again?" A neko asked.

"Hmm at least 20."

"We might want to recount them again, we don't want boss to be mad at us."

"True. Okay let's see..."

Two irrelevant nekos turned around and started to count the red apples they had on display.
The Nekoma clan was getting ready to trade with another clan for the day.

"...17...18...19?"

"'19'? Didn't you say there was 20?"

"I-I swore I counted 20."

Kenma hid behind the stand.
Not wanting to be seen by his fellow cats.

The duo haired male held onto a ripe red apple.
He wanted to give it to the wolf.

Y/n was staying near by the berry bushes for a few days.
He said he wanted to spend some time with the nekos before he left.

Kenma remembered that when he, Yaku, and Lev first met the (h/c)-ette, he wasn't able to finished his apple.
So Kenma decided to give another, and better apple, for Y/n as a small gift.

The duo haired male snuck away from the stand.
Leaving two very confused and nervous nekos behind.

"Hmm?" Kuroo hummed in questioning.

The black haired male turned a bit, hearing the patter of running.
He saw his long time childhood friend running away from the large and frantic crowd.

The tall neko raised a brow as he watched Kenma run into the woods.
He cocked his his head to the side in confusion.

"Y/n?" Kenma called out in a hush voice.

There was a bit of rustling in one of the plain bushes.
Kenma turned and focused his sight there.

Y/n popped his head out of the bush.
Leafs and small sticks stuck in his fluffy (h/c) hair.

Kenma blushed at the small yet cute action.
He pulled out the red apple from his sleeve.

"I-I got you something," Kenma said.

Y/n's eyes lit up with excitement as he smiled brightly.
He stubbled out of the bush and sat in front of the neko, (h/c) tail wagging.

Kenma smiled slightly at this.
He blushed a bit more and patted the wolf's head.

Y/n leaned into the touch.
I guess you could say he was touch starved.

The slightly taller cat handed the (h/c)-ette the apple.
Y/n gladly accepted it.

"Thank you, Kenma-San!" The wolf cheered as he bit into it.

Kenma just watched happily as his friend ate the apple.
He was happy that he could have a day with him.

Y/n was quick to finish the apple.
It was noon and he forgotten to eat that day.

"Ano..." Kenma muttered, catching the wolf's attention, "C-can I h-hold you?"

Y/n blinked, a bit confused.
But he then blushed a bit at the request.
